The hotel had a nice feel to it, and although reflected an old medieval style on the outside the room was bright, airy and modern. Also, we had left something in our room by mistake and the hotel receptionist contacted us right away to let us know :-)

Have stayed 3 times before. On this occasion the restaurant food and general service had gone down. We will not stay there again

Chose because of the setting and te fact it was a chateau. Our room was modern minimalist which we didn't like. All the public rooms were formal and unwelcoming. Too much kike walking round a stately home.

The hotel was great. We ate at the restaurant and had a blast. It was an experience to eat a fancy french meal that I would highly recommend. No wi fi in the rooms.

This is the second time we have used the hotel and will most certainly make further visits. Much refurbishment has been undertaken in the newer part of the chateau ,since previous visit two years ago, and has been completed to a high standard. We continually recommend the hotel to our friends and in fact some are there now! The restaurant is particularly good and pre booking is highly recommended. Whilst the refurbishment had been carried out to a very high standard, there was little cupboard or drawer storage space in the rooms and whilst no problem for a couple of nights stay, a longer stay may be an inconvenience.

It was beautiful and we were made so welcome and shown to an enormous lovely old character styled room. The bed was big and comfy and the chaise longue so good for reading. The toilet was in a cupboard and very small.

We loved the atmosphere generated by the furnishings, the beautiful garden, the luxury feel to the rooms and the chateau style of the buildings. We appreciated the very welcoming attitude by all the staff and especially the help we received as English speaking people with our very limited French. All of our queries were answered with very good information and with charm. Our stay in Chateau De Creissels was one of the highlights of our holiday in the area.

'The restaurant was first rate - the best meal and service we have had in France so far. We stayed in a contemporary room which was very modern and well done, but I wish I had booked a room more in line with the way the chateau looks. Our room felt more like we were in Japan than in France.

The accommodation is excellent. The ancient building has very recently been refurbished to a very high stadard. Beds are comfortable and rooms are well furnished and all facilities are right up to date. The situation of the hotel at the top of a hill overlooking Millau and the River Tarn is quite astonishing. The view of the incredible a75 bridge from some of the bedrooms and the terrace is quite amazing. The food in the restaurant and the service is very good. We will certainly return to the Chateau De Creissels when the opportunity arises. Quite adorable.

This hotel is a little gem. Food excellent, staff very helpful and english is spoken. The room with balcony was perfect. From the terrace drinking a cocktail or beer watching the sun go down past the Millau bridge was great. A must for a return visit.

Wow, we absolutely loved our stay at the Chateau De Creissels and really wish we had arranged to stay more than one night. We went for the Contemporary double room with terrace. Although we didn't have a direct view of the Millau Viaduct, we could see part of it from our terrace. The terrace looked over the beautiful garden and Car park. The room was large, well furnished, the bed was huge and so comfy and the bathroom was simply awesome. His and hers sinks, large shower cubicle. The photos on here really don't show how good this hotel is. After staying in an expensive hotel in paris for a couple of nights this Chateau seemed so much better value for money. Very good prices for drinks to sit in the garden/terrace. We'd love to go back again Nothing bad about the hotel

The restaurant and food is wonderful and very good value. From our window we could see the iconic Millau Bridge. The bed was a little small. We always prefer a King.

The location was great. It was near the amazing bridge the Millau Viaduct and the Roquefort Caves. We had the "contempory standard" room. Small (we didn't care), but very nice, with a comfortable queen sized bed and very sleek, cool bathroom. Our freinds had one of the rooms in the older part of the chateau. It was lovely, full of charm and antiques, with a stunning view of the bridge. The grounds were lovely. We had dinner at their wonderful restaurant. Fantastic food, great view and service. Wish we had stayed more than one night!

The location is superb as a hub for other day trips. It's view of the Viaduct at Millau is great! Sophie was particularly helpful & accommodating. The attached restaurant was wonderful. No trash can in the living area. No refrigerator in the room. Not really a complaint, just a suggestion to make it even better.

We really enjoyed the recently renovated room with a terrace. It was beautifully designed and very luxurious. The hotel could use a small elevator. Carrying our heavy bags up to the second floor is still possible for us but would be difficult for people who are not fit. We had an excellent dinner there but the wait staff did not have much use of the English language and were a little abrupt with us. Our French skills are quite basic since we live in English speaking Canada.

Excellent meal in the evening and very luxurious bathroom, it was in a good location to view the bridge. The evening meal was of a very high standard and amazingly good value. Liked the fact there were 1/2 bottles of wine and that the service was well timed. Room very luxurious with large balcony , made the stay feel like a 'special' event even though we had just come to see the bridge at Millau.

“A warm and friendly welcome. A map of the town was provided and the proprietor identified a number of restaurants on the map for us. Travelling with an older teenager we opted for Macdonalds directly opposite the hotel. Chalets have a small, well equiped kitchenette with fridge and cooking facility so self catering is also an option. The chalet was clean although furnishings were basic - perfect for those of us with children of any age and also for those in the area for the outdoor activities the area has to offer. A generous, continental style buffet breakfast set us up for the next leg of our journey. All in all a great value hotel.” Barbara, Ramsgate |
