Rather old hotel wich used to be better maintained. Also they charged my card twice - one for garantee and second time for payment. But the amout of money taken for garantee wasn't equal the price for the room. Also the name of sales point for garantee (wich is visible for the bank) was "Chateau Divonne" and for living - "Grandes Etaps F." So my bank is unable to cancel the garantee as far as they don't have information that it was the same sales point.

The Chateau is nicley located only 20km from Geneve. We have really enjoyed our stay, besides very friendly staff and a very original and impressing atmosphere the chateau offers a great kitchen. Also the free W-Lan in the entire castle and the very clean and nice rooms make it a really nice place. Besides we wouldn't be surprised if the restaurant is going to get its first Michelin star soon. We were very unlucky to catch a worse weather, otherwise we could have seen the Mont Blanc from our room.

Proximity to Geneva was excellent. Setting was spectacular with views of Alps and Lake Geneva. The grounds with the old chapel added to the setting. The chateau was well restored. We had a large room with a modern bath.

It's a lovely chateau on a hill across from Mt. Blanc. Each room is well-decorated. Outside of winter they have a huge terrace. One has the feeling of being out in the countryside but only 15 -20 minute drive from Geneva. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. I always feel special there. The nearby town is only a 10 minute walk. The Chateau has a wonderful restaurant and the food is delicious. Its chef (and others, especially the pastry chef) are all excellent. Although the food is excellent it is very expensive (as is room service). I don't have a car when I went to the Chateau so I only had options I could walk to in the town. It would be perfect if guests (including outside guests) could order a cheaper meal in the bar.

Этим замком мы начинали свое путешествие по провинциям Франции. Мы искали особую атмосферу и гастрономические изыски. Можно сказать, что не все замки-отели готовы похвастаться сохранностью француского шарма. Эксплуатация темы, использование здания для этого, возможно это не так трудно понять или мы слишком размечтались. Как обычный отель это тоже не совсем правильно, все эти *нюансы* в старинном здании, когда делаешь сноску на *шарм*.. В итоге, мы себя уговорили, что это только начало и направились в район Луары.

Frankreich ist nicht die Schweiz punkto Sterne. Sehr sauber! Die erste Nacht in einem Zimmer kein Fenster nur ein Bullauge von ca. 40Cm. Durmesser, musste auf Stuhl stehen um aus Land zu sehen!Nach Reklemation gabs sehr schöne Zimmer!

Camera anche se non particolarmente spaziosa molto carina e accogliente ,personale gentile e a completa disposizione .Cucina particolare raffinata ,forse il menu non incontrava I nostri gusti .Cmq la vacanza è stata gradita . Prima colazione un pò cara il buffé era un pò scarso .Si dovrebbe curare un pò di più l'esterno dell'Hotel .

Un personnel toujours à l'écoute, la propreté, la situation et la vue. La terrasse pour le petit déjeuner avec sa vue magnifique, de quoi très bien commencer une journée. La magnifique piscine et son merveilleux parc.

“I have travelled with my wife ....Where to start .... Everything was great ... I have travel allot , I can say this one of the best . Staff are soooo friendly and helpful... Their welcoming was great ... One of the staff went up to the room with us and explain every single thing in the room ... They give us a great welcoming drink .. Room was super clean ...they put a chocolate on the bed evey day ( great one and other type on the next day ) ...they clean the room twice a day ...location is great ad well... On the leak, just 8 minutes wake from the geneva central city station , near the shops and allot of resturant ....Simply it was great experience ...
