Château de la Menaudière

Very peaceful and quite comfortable rooms

The lack of a restaurant. Having one would be a bonus. No portars for luggage (on the3rd floor and no lifts and we are elderly!)

Location great, lovely grounds and beautiful house with character. Good welcome even though we arrived at 11pm. Helpful, friendly staff. Good breakfast. Booked 2 rooms which were comfortable although 1 double room was fairly small. Bathrooms good size and well equipped. Pool attractive.

Nothing really - staircases (3 floors) huge and attractive but hotel would benefit from a lift.

Relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.

Restaurant only available for breakfast. Not open for evening meals, which was a slight disappointment.

The Chateau was very quiet, peaceful and relaxing. It has lovely grounds for walking in and nice heated swimming pool.

At the time of our stay they appeared to be short staffed. Although the grounds were generally lovely, the hedge in front of the hotel had not been trimmed properly, which detracted from its visual appeal. The wireless network was not always working.

Small Chateau with really large ground around it - go there if you like that feeling. Old furniture. Feeling of an old manor. Tennis court and pool available. Clean new bathroom. Friendly staff. Good parking. Reasonable close to tourist attractions in area (car needed). Good stay especially if you get a bargain offer.

WIFI not in rooms. Extremely expensive breakfast. Room small despite having booked top category.

The staff was very welcoming and helpful, despite limited English abilities. The place gives you a good castle feeling, despite the buildings being somewhat obscured by terrain. Short drive to restaurants in he town of Montrichard.

Staff did not speak English and there was no restaurant at the hotel despite this being advertised on the hotel signs and website.

Quand il faut prévenir pour ajuster l'heure d'arrivée,il n'y a personne qui réponde au téléphone (qui est mis sur répondeur en boucle ).C'est seulement vers le soir que quelqu'un décroche .Pour ce niveau d'hôtel ,c'est un peu "court"..

Le calme, la propreté,la gentillesse du personnel sont les maîtres mots de cet hotel à recommander pour un séjour de repos et de farienté.Endroit magnifique

Le déjeuner est copieux et suffisant mais pourrais être un peu plus varié

Aucune attention particuliere au fait que nous soyons de jeunes maries, pas un bouquet de fleur ni même quelconque attention, dommage.

Très beau château. Personnel agréable. Les chambres, bien que très propres sont un peu vieillotes.
