This B&B is in a 19th century house set in the village of Bézu-Saint-Eloi, in the Normandy region. It has a large garden, just on the edge of a stream.
Score from 61 reviews Excellent

A beautiful chateau, excellent food and friendly staff. Would recommend this hotel.
Beautifully secluded down a long single-track lane and then through a wood. Very quiet and peaceful. Charming old building and tastefully furnished and decorated. This was our 3rd visit and everything seemed much smarter than before. Business seemed quite brisk.
Beautiful, remote location in a forest overlooking horse farm. Swimming pool on site. Great roads through forest for walks. Yet close to Giverny and a doable drive from Rouen. Unbelievably delicious, inventive and thoughtfully presented cuisine, the best in our whole month in France!
Nothing,it is a paradise
I liked the hotel and the location. A very beautiful area. Quiet and peaceful. Secure parking.
We didn't spend a holiday there, it was simply a place to sleep for a few nights, and that was disappointing because the bed was very small and hard and the room not as comfortable as expected. It didn’t live up to the impression given by the pictures on this site. No shower. No comment on the restaurant, it was closed while we were there.
We very much enjoyed the experience to stay a night in a Chateau and also to sample a delightful meal with our teenagers.
We could have had more coffee for breakfast.
I stayed at the Cateau de la Rapee with my family and bridesmaids the night before my wedding. I must say, it was THE BEST experience one could have on such an important and stressful night. All my friends and family absolutely loved the place, the rooms were gorgeous, the views were stunning, the staff was helpful and pleasant. We were even able to get a last minute reservation in a Michelin star restaurant which is based in the Chateau! Morning of the wedding we went for a swim in the pool and as the bride I was kindly allowed to extend my check-out by a couple of hours to prepare for the wedding while everyone else was comfortable outside , walking around, playing table tennis and just hanging out in the garden. I am endlessly grateful for having those moments with my best friends and family in such marvelous settings! I'd like to come back here for a romantic stay with my husband for our anniversary.
The wi-fi wasn't working all the time which made some of our last moment organization a bit difficult. But that doesn't really matter because this place really should be enjoyed internet-free:)
We were staying in this BnB before one of our friend's wedding (so we were a pretty big group). And we were amazed with the service and friendliness of all of the personnel! They really went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The place itself is great if you just want to relax in a peaceful countryside and take your mind of busy city-living. The rooms are very cozy and clean and the beds are comfortable. And one important thing - the food in the restaurant is so mmmmmmmmmm. Definitely recommend having at least one dinner there. All in all - I am so content with my stay there I cannot praise this place enough.
Honestly, cannot think of single one thing I disliked.
Good rural location, close to main routes. Friendly staff. Breakfast in lovely setting overlooking gardens.
No Sunday evening Restaurant Or bar facilities. Building could do with upgrading. Bedroom small.
Beautiful surroundings, lovely building, food and staff excellent.
The bed was hard.
The idyllic location was a pleasant break from frantic city living. The staff was extremely attentive to our needs. The dinner was a fantastic experience.
The dinner was a little pricey. The WiFi was fine in the evening, but spotty in the morning
Everything about the Chateau and its location also the food was excellent our room was beautiful and much higher standard than expected
Lovely setting. Very nice room.
Had booked here because of the menu for a birthday treat. We turned up to find the restaurant is closed on Sundays, there was no mention of this on their website. Huge disappointment, had to drive five miles for a meal.
Friendly knowledgable staff Good decor Seclusion Good food and wine
Food quality and attention to detail by the staff. Owners are very accommodating.
Chateau de la Rappe is an impressive building situated in woodlands with a riding school attached. It has an elegant feel to it with all it's period features still evident. The restaurant is 1st class with local dishes a speciality.
Excellent restaurant in a nice Chateau. Food superb. Unfortunately not much else.
Tiny uncomfortable room. Uncomfortable bed. No tea or coffee facilities in room. Extortionate price of after dinner liqueur coffees. Sorry but we certainly won't go back.
The restaurant was absolutely excellent and the staff very friendly. The building is fabulous.
The room was a bit uncomfortable, the bed was only 140 cm, wich is to small for most old people even if you are a couple. The room could afford a 180 cm bed. Our room was nice but very cold, which we found inhospitable. The breakfest, bread, marmelade, youghurt and tea or coffe for 13 Euro pp was not affordable.
