Staff very friendly Grounds very pleasant Food was well above average

Suite would hardly qualify as a large room and nothing like the website photos Lack of an elevator made the equivalent of 5 floors of stairs a tad painful Toilet and bathroom/washbasin at opposite ends of the bed room was a bit French

Beautiful, historic building in a delightful setting. Very conveniently located. Excellent breakfast & evening meal. We had our dog with us and he was given a warm welcome and they very thoughtfully gave us a room with French windows so that we had direct access to the grounds with plenty of walks on the doorstep.

Very expensive for what seems to be more of a conference hotel. Remote location. Also, there wasn't an elevator so we had to lug all of our bags up three flights of stairs while the staff simply watched offering no assistance.

All good but I suggest renting a car as taxi fee doesn't make sense

Rent a car better then spending ridiculous taxi fee!

the comfort of the room. The quietness and general feeling of the place

The staff wasn't extremely helpful nor friendly. The water pressure in the bathroom was really below average to enjoy a decent shower

the location was beautiful. the restaurant was outstanding if expensive.

breakfast buffet was disappointing and expensive. it was situated in the bar, which functioned as a corridor to the modern wing and to the meeting rooms, the decor was tired in the room.

Beautiful setting and scenery in a very practical location. Excellent staff.

Although the restaurant is lovely and the food is good, it is surprisingly expensive for a French restaurant and compared the the room rates. The drinks are excessively expensive and the wine of poor quality. A bit disappointing when dining with a child.

It was our last night after 2 weeks in Europe. We wanted something close to CDG but also with French charm. Chateau de la Tour was the perfect choice for us. Just wished we had more time to enjoy it.

The coffee/ tea pot was a new experience for us. I made quite a mess over boiling my coffee. Instructions for Americans who are coffee drinkers would be nice.

Food in resturant in evening excellent. Beautiful location.

Disappointed with room heavy smell of smoke. Breakfast facilities disappointing would have been nice to have hot cup of tea. Heavy smell of polish in lounge area which was overpowering. Would not return.

The views and grounds were stunning.

The breakfast disappointed. Our stay was during a heat wave, it was extremely hot in our room and the air conditioning unit didnt work. We reported this to the reception (who seemed to be waiting/expect this complaint)upon our arrival. We asked for a new air conditioning unit or a room change, we were told they had neither spare. I then asked for a fan but they couldn't provide that either. This resulted in a very hot, disturbed nights sleep and bring bitten by mosquitoes, as we had no choice but to have the windows open to try to cool the room down. This resulted in us not feeling rested for the remainder of our journey.

Fabulous hotel, beautiful location, room amazing

A glass of wine or beer costs €8 cheapest bottle of wine€32 and a lemonade €4. The restaurant menu for 5 of us would be completely ridiculous, but lots of nice restaurants nearby.

The hotel is a beautiful building, surrounded by a park / garden. The small swimmingpool is nice. There is a buffet with water and fruitjuice at the swimmingpool. The rooms are all individually decorated. We had a romantic room with drapes above the bed. Our daughter had a more modern room. Very nice. The restaurant is also very good. We did enjoy our stay.

At arrival we had to take our luggage to our room. There was no elevator, so we had to carry the luggage to the first floor by ourselfs. You would expect of a hotel like this, that somebody would take your luggage to your room. The staff on the terras in the afternoon was not very fast in service.

Almost everything - large modern bedroom with aircon, quiet location, first-class restaurant.

No lift, so had to walk through bar and breakfast room to get from reception to the stairs.

    Lovely garden and setting

At least one and sometimes two weddings per day. Facilities very busy but my major complaint was the dreadful music until 3am each morning. No sleep from what is advertised as a "silence" hotel.

    Lovely grounds.

Hotel very disappointing; no character at all; very over-priced. Room basic, bed rather hard, towels very old and hard, almost no pressure in the shower. Breakfast ok but not worth €15.
