Lovely setting with views over a lake, lovely building, staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was 8 Euros for adults 4 Euros for children. Rooms very light and airy with loads of space. Perfect for stopover through France. Added bonus with a small kitchenette (incl microwave and 2 hob rings) in room - great with a baby Shower leaked all over the floor in both rooms - design fault |

We loved the staff and the hotel, although it would be good to have some outside tables to enjoy the view of the lake and a bar also. Breakfast was more than ample, even without ham! We didnt need it |

The staff were polite. The rooms are large but not well furnished. The chateau renovation is not very successful Too far from city centre |

easy access to the hotel. plenty of parking space. hotel attractive from the outside, set in its own grounds. the room seemed unfinished. there was shelving in cheap looking hard board, this should have been finished of with a wardrobe door, to hide the shelving, it would have made the room attractive. |

The location was good (once i found the place) and was nice and peaceful. I loved having the kitchenette in the room as i didn't have to go out for dinner. I had a superior room and it was a generous size with very generous ensuite bathroom. A very comfortable stay. |

Unexpectedly, far from city centre; no help and information about route to centre and/or restaurants to have dinner; only French speaking staff (1, at reception); small beds; no possibility to have a drink other than in the room; located directly next to building site; fence prohibiting direct access to lake shore on which the hotel is situated; no breakfast tabel setting for our party of 7. Hotel is clearly very new and appears to be in its start-up fase (summer 2009) |

Cleanliness, informality, parking, location. Roof beams too close to bedhead. |

The room is spacious and has a small kitchen which is useful when you stay for several days. The language capability of the staff is very limited. |

Location was good and parking ok. Nice setting. No air conditioning despite very hot weather. Manager was eventually persuaded to change our room as the allocated room was like an oven and very badly ventilated. Had to buy a fan in the end. No lift and awkward staircase. |

Comfortable beds and quiet area . Although booked for 3 people the kitchenette was sparsely kitted out , with crockery, cutlery etc for only 2 people and no kettle . Fortunately only staying 1 night as stop over on journey south. Felt it was pricey . |

The setting overlooking a lake, the beautiful old building, the grand breakfast room with a view of the lake. An experience of staying in a castle for a modest price. Also the friendly staff. Difficult to find, important for clients to know that you have to look for a sign saying "Base de loisirs" and then follow a sign saying "Golfe" and you will hopefully find the rue de Lazenay, which has funny white lines along the side of the road and lots of speed bumps. The chateau is just at the end of the road, and at night it's lit up. |

The hotel welcomes you in a warm and completely renovated environment, just 5 minutes from city centre and the train station. |
At the gateway to the Sologne region, 2 hours from Paris, the Hotel De Bourbon Grand Hotel Mercure Bourges and its gourmet restaurant l'Abbaye St Ambroix combine comfort and tradition with charm and... |
Perfectly located, opposite the railway station, right in the town centre. 10 mns walk from the historic centre of Bourges. |
Situated in the heart of the Berry, the hotel is a few minutes away from the city centre and Jacques Cœur Palace. |
