Château de Locguénolé  

The setting is beautiful! The Chateau is located on a hillside over looking a lovely body of water. One must make time to explore the grounds of the Chateau. They do not disappoint. Dinner at the Chateau was superb. The food was excellent in both quality and its visual presentation. The service was perfection. The diningroom did not lack direction. It functioned like a well run machine. It is an experience I shall long cherish. The public rooms of the Chateau were most inviting

The desk staff was also most helpful. They really went above and beyond to make yours a most pleasant stay. My only negative was something I'm not sure how might be handled. We were on the top floor and there is no elevator. Thanks to the desk staff our bags were carried upstairs---- about 60 steps in all. We are in our 70's and this could have been a challenge since we were on a three week holiday.

this hotel is superb, from the greeting to the reception area, to the fabulous spacious room, to the onsuite jacuzzi bath, to the restaurant, to the breakfast....... this hotel is just the buisness. the absolute buisness

Dinner was excellent

A little impersonal.

The chateau is in a beautiful location, surrounded by 120 hectares of woods with walking paths. The lawn slopes down to the water, and the property borders the sea for 2 kilometers. The setting is simply lovely, as is everything about it. My daughter, husband and I stayed in a room on the third floor that is quite large with slightly sloping ceilings and exposed beams. It was very comfortable and quite beautiful. The food was amazing. They gracefully accommodated our need for less rich dinners and concocted delicious soups and salads with an incredible lobster dinner. The staff is excellent in every way. The pool is fairly large and heated. It was very comfortable to swim in it on a slightly chilly day. Recommended in every aspect!

Everything is perfect! Beutiful scenery and great cuisine...etc

The setting was beautiful - a perfect place to relax. The grounds were extensive making it possible to explore woodland, walk beside the estuary, or simply relax in one of the many areas next to the chateau. The food was superb and the staff very attentive. I really liked the fact the chateau was not commercialised - it was unspoilt and not overcrowded. We were lucky to be upgraded into a superior room so felt very spoilt. We had a memorable stay at Chateau de Locguenole.

The price of an aperitif was steep - 15 euros for a glass of champagne but in such a beautiful setting and with canapes on the side we had to accept we were living the high life and should pay for the privelege.

Très grande chambre dans une tour, avec 3 fenêtres donnant sur une vue superbe, mobilier élégant, salons luxueux, piscine extérieure chauffée, excellent repas, accueil professionnel

C'est tout simplement un sans faute : une vie en château en toute simplicité, dans un décor magnifique, avec un personnel accueillant et une gastronomie qui, à elle seule, pourrait justifier le détour. Une étape intemporelle...

Très bel endroit, nous y séjournerons à nouveau avec plaisir.

Personnel très attentionné et en même temps très discret. Dîner impeccable, très bien servi, agréable à la vue et délicieux.
