NOTHING.....except it could an elevator for us leg impaired geezers, but even without one it was great.

This was a wonderful holiday experience for us, a lovely chateau in the beautiful, peaceful countryside. We loved our room, its decor & views of the chateau grounds & countryside. The food in the restaurant was magnificent, and the staff were excellent, very helpful. The cheeses & wines of France are very new to us so on our request the staff recommended exceptionally well our wines & cheeses for our meal. We would love to come back to Chateau de Pray

The place is very nice, safe and comfort. Location is perfect. The room is very superb for family.

There's no refrigerator and boling pot in the room.

I thought the whole experience lived up to my every expectation.

Had our reception dinner here 10 years ago. Back with 7 year old daughter. Staff just as nice and accomodating. It isnt a new, luxuriant hotel, but the charm makes up. We didnt, but the adjacent stable looks to make a horse ride avail.

Price ok considering the hotel's circumstances (location, number rooms) but wouldnt consider great value.

We liked the combination of historic and modern practical adaptation. The Grounds are wonderful also.

We checked in late, around 10 pm. Very friendly staff helped us bring our luggage to our room, then we went to the bar to have a drink. Clean, well appointed room with super comfortable bed and superb bedding. We slept great in our room. We didn't eat breakfast because we had a busy day planned. My husband did have a wonderful cappuccino in the neat dining area while I was getting ready.

It was a great stay.

It was a nice weekend at Chateau de Pray. The room facilities are above average, very comfortable. The staff was very kindly and the restaurant menu was superb.

The Chateau De Pray was centrally located in the Loire Valley and very comfortable to come home to after very long days visiting the many beautiful chateax.

All of our needs were met and we had a lovey romantic stay.

The service was first class

Beautiful and very charming country chateau with exceptional staff! Incredible ambiance and setting. Will return for sure!

Staff were fantastic. We had some unusual requests that required them to ring around, and they were not only nice enough to do as we asked despite the inconvenience, but they did it with enthusiasm. The chateau itself was absolutely beautiful too.

The Chateau and its grounds were picture book beautiful, as was the dinning experience outside on the front veranda. The menu, kitchen, and wait staff presented creativity, high level culinary skill and very professional and appreciated service. Great location ..... peaceful and quiet, yet close to the center of Amboise

Great location! 3km from Amboise and this is a place that is worth spending a couple of days. Nice room and a beautiful park with the pool. Very good restaurant though a little too much gourmet and rather expnsive. We have also been to the dinner in the chateau nearby (the Choiseul), the restaurant is more posh but the menu was cheaper and included wine tasting.

Atmosphere.

The lovely bathroom needs a safety handle the assist entry and exit from the bath before someone falls. We did think the food, while good, was expensive.

Age of building does not allow for elevator, but worth the stairs.

Spacious rooms in a beautiful old chateau. Nicely decorated, modern bathrooms. Staff was friendly and helpful. Lovely swimming pool and outdoor space.

This was a truly wonderful experience. The food was amazing. Wine was reasonably priced with great selection. Staff couldnt have bn more helpful. Gardens were gorgeous. Pool perfect.

Just beautiful and the room had so much character. Staff are a bit ott but in a good way - they kill you with service.

Bit disappointing to arrive (after spending 1.5hrs trying to find the place - the address listed cannot be found by gps bc it is not technically in Amboise but instead Chargé and the only way to find it is to search for the street Chemin de Pray) to discover the restaurant fully booked and the next best thing was half hour drive away.

The restaurant was fabulous. We had a 5 course meal that was an epicurean delight. The room was very small and crowded, but nicely decorated.

The directions to the hotel were not specific enough for us to find it. We had to ask for help along the way.
