charming nature and interesting accomodation The lack of a good restaurant nearby. The nearest restaurant- 'auberge' is at the same time expensive and with a very poor kitchen. Don't go there. |

Beautiful chateaue with very nice rooms, clean and wide. very comfortable, but the reason to get there is mostly the kindness of the owners, not to mention the great view from the windows and when walking in the chateaue zoo. Wonderful place to stay in! |

We loved the beauty of the grounds and building. Seeing llama, horses, sheep, chickens on the gorgeous castle grounds was an unexpected pleasure. |

Staying in the main chateau was fantastic - a real treat. The room was a family room and it was very spacious. Four poster bed, full access to swimming pool and grounds. The children particularly liked the animals in the grounds. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. |

We wanted a hotel centrally located in the Loire Valley with lots of French charm. If you love the country side, this place is convenient for going east or west in Loire to visit the chateaux, with other local options such as: hiking, bicycling, horseback riding, hot air ballooning, etc. Our room was very spacious. No A/C, but it doesn't matter, the room was comfortably cool. Our bathroom had a bath tub with a hand held shower, not unlike many hotels in Europe. I highly recommend this chateau. Staff is very accommodating. You might want to brush up on your French! Americans would probably call it a B & B. Free wireless Wi-Fi in sitting area. The night sky with the stars is absolutely amazing. Works for families &/or romantics. |

It was out in the country - when we woke up we could see the horses in the meadow. The rooms were lovely, the owner was very friendly and we had a wonderful stay even though the weather did not allow for use of the pool. It was a great place from which to visit the chateaux. It was a bit hard to find and like most of the hotels in France, the tub would benefit with the addition of a shower curtain. |

beautiful building, inside and out, excellent decor, large bedrooms, very peaceful location; wonderful parkland setting. Just 5 mins by car from Chateau de Montpoupon, and 20 mins to Chenonceau Chateau |

Nice surroundings, very nice and thoughtful landlady, tasty french breakfast, something like a zoo around the building (lamas, horses, peacocks E.T.C.). We didn't test the waterpool because of weather, but it really exists. WiFi signal was quite weak in our room, at the same time it was perfect into the common room next to ours (seems like the walls are too thick). But since we were almost alone in this building - it was Ok. |

La classe et la chaleur humaine de la propriétaire, le calme, la paix et la sérénité qui se dégage de chacune des pièces du château mais également du parc, du bois et du coin "ménagerie". En fait, tout était parfait et j'y retournerais aux prochaines vacances. Je l'ai déjà également recommandé dans mon entourage et mis les photos sur mon site personnel pour partager mon expérience. Non : tout était parfait. |
