We were the only guests at the hotel for dinner (monday evening , mid october so not really surprising..) and the manager,Jenny, brought her family in for dinner to create some more ambiance. We thought that this was very sweet. It is in a beautiful spot, close to Bergerac and a wonderful spot to use as a base while visiting the local wine producers, and a great terrace, facing west for a chill-out space, with a good glass of wine. Friendly but professional staff, we will visit again.

Excellent location, in the heart of the Dordogne countryside overlooking a valley. The chateau was comfortable with good furnishings throughout - a very nice place to unwind. Dinner was excellent and very good value; excellent wine list also. Relaxing swimming pool. Staff were very attentive and provided an excellent service in all area'S. Would definately stay again. Dinner menu, whilst excellent, was limited as same menu available every night; however, was fine for us as we only stayed four nights. However, as the Chateau was quite remote (a good thing), we discovered only a very few alterantive local restuarants. The lack of air conditioning in the room was an issue during a particularly hot night - an electric fan was available but had limited effect. Due to remote location could initially be difficult to find.

A beautiful location with a wonderful chateau. Great restaurant and wines. A great place to explore the wine district and nearby town of St Emilion. Very comfortable. Look for signs at nearest village if using satnav.

Good location with windows to the river. Good but bit standard breakfast. Walking distance to city center. Nice terrase of the restaurant. Parking place is available for free, but number of places is limited, especially is you arrive Friday night...

Beautiful setting, excellent service from very friendly staff, very nice, well-priced dining. We had a wonderful evening sipping champagne in the beautiful grounds, followed by a very nice meal which was extremely well-priced given the quality. The staff were attentive, but not overly so. It was a very nice experience. The bedroom was too hot. It is the middle of summer and was a very hot day. Although a large efficient fan was provided and, in fairness, we knew when booking that there was no air conditioning, the room was still too hot. If not for this, we would be ticking 'excellent' under every aspect of our experience.

The Chateau offers utter tranquility in the middle of the French countryside. The rooms and service are superb as is the restaurant. The bilingual staff were endlessly hellpful and friendly.

A lovely place, tucked at the end of twisty roads, and creating a wonderful atmosphere of peace and serenity. Charming room. We enjoyed a lovely evening meal, washed down with some local wine and an obliging display of thunder and lightening.

Fantastic staff. They couldn't do enough for you. Lovely facilities. Friendly. Beautiful dining room. Excellent menu. Wonderful wine list reflective of the region. The beds were wonderful. Just finding it the first time in the dark!

L'établissement, chaleureux, coquet avec beaucoup de gout juste ce qu'il faut pour s'y sentir bien. La suite , acceuillante, vaste et bien équipée. Le calme et la vue magnifique.Le personnel, aimable, disponible. La table, tres bon rapport qualité prix, les plats chaleureux et tres bien cuisinés, un service impeccable dans une salle acceuillante.L'emplacement idéalement situé pour des visites vers St Emlilion. Séjour des plus agréables. J'aurai aimé des volets aux fenetres ou des rideaux plus occultants pour ne pas etre reveillée "aux aurores" par le jour en w end !!!

Le site est époustouflant. Un paysage de Toscane, mais en France. La maître d'hôtes est très attentionnée. La salle à dîner est des plus agréables avec une vue exceptionnelle. La nourriture est très bonne. Nous avons été très agréablement surpris de cette petite trouvaille d'hôtel. à recommander! Un tout petit peu à l'écart (25 min. De St-Émilion), en pleine campagne mais ça vaut vraiment le déplacement.

Überaus zuvorkommendes Personal, sehr gute Küche, große saubere Zimmer, schöner kleiner Pool, Blick in die Weinberge und Umgebung, sehr ruhig, da etwas abgelegen. etwas mühsam zu finden, selbst mit Navi.

Mooie locatie, erg vriendelijke gastvrije ontvangst en bediening, prima keuken, zwembad erg prettig, kamers goed ingericht, wel lastig door lage schuine wanden voor mensen met lengte. plek om terug te gaan!
