Room & staff were great - food was excellent

Quite expensive and, on top of that, charging 2 Euros per night to park on the grounds is an insult! Better to add it to the room rate that itemize charge. We felt that $950 for two nights and two dinners with just 2 glasses of wine was rather over the top! I'm saying I'd recommend it but only if you have deep pockets.

Fabulous setting, the staff were friendly and helpful.

The spa and pool, the quality of the food and its preparation. The beauty of the chateau and the way in which it and the grounds are kept in first class condition.

the lack of variety in the menus over four nights. My wife was not told on booking that our room would not be in the chateau. It should have been made clear where it would be. As it was, because of our use of the spa we were happy to be close to it and not having to walk to it when it was such cold weather.

We chose the hotel mainly because we wanted a nice place close to the historic beaches, and with an indoor pool for our young children. Only on arrival did we realise it also has a first class restaurant. Overall a bit pricy, particularly the food, but very nice if you are looking for peace, quiet and good food,

Excellent hotel, beautifully kept, inside and outside. Wonderful bar, wonderful restaurant and great food, everything a delight. Of course you pay a lot for this but would certainly stay there again!

The ambience was relaxing and pleasant. The staff were friendly, welcoming, polite and tried to speak English to help out. The restaurant dinner was spectacular. make sure that you are hungry before eating there, so that you can enjoy as many courses as possible!

I liked the pool, bedroom, bathroom, location, setting, staff - it was all absolutely lovely. I will definitely be visiting again.

Furnishings and carpets getting very shabby. Stair carpet dangerous! Same menu each night therefore only used the restaurant once, went into Bayeux for the other two nights of our stay. 40 euro bottle of wine very poor......I Would rate that it could be purchased for about 3-5 euros in a store.........very overpriced wine list. The location is very noisy from the adjacent main road and the equestrian centre over the road was very noisy I find it difficult to see why this chateaux is in the 'Relais du Silence' brochure.

Location, just outside Bayeux, luxury, decent swimming pool, nice rooms, fair wifi, great beautiful grounds. Generally a fair hotel

To buy a coke was €9! Way too expensive, my fiancee wanted a cup of tea and she got terrible tea @ €7! No bar after 12 midnight is also a negative and no reception after 12midnight also..

We would go there again. Super food.

There is no lift so anyone with stairs trouble will find things difficult.

we have stayed here before many years ago. I think the room is overpriced really. No bath or tea or coffee making facilities and a small room. 18 euros for a gin and tonic seems a little excessive!The staff were excellent and the food made it a worthwhile trip-a very memorable meal.Beautiful setting and use of the pool and spa is nice.

Bar is not really intended for a drink, room 12 is quite noisy - depending on your neighbors-.

The restaurant was amazing! We had the most incredinly deliecious diners there. Felt like royalty. If you book, you must request the main building. You will feel like royalty.

Excellent place to stay. The Chateau is very quiet which we like. The food and service and table service very good. The Gluten free food excellent and we noticed the chief took trouble to omitt gluten products from Carol's meal. The thing that stands out was that the staff were very helpfull at all times. Ecellent sauna -perhaps you need more seats in this area for gests etc

Please can we make tea in our room or boil water for a hot drink. Otherwise nothing

Fijne vleeswaren op het ontbijtbuffet waren povertjes, wel uitgebreid ontbijt, jammer dat alle broodjes geteld zijn en je geen extra kan krijgen

A foglaláskor Superior szobát igényeltem és ezt az árat is számlázták,ezt fizettem. A Booking oldalon a képeket visszanézve a Standard szobánál láttam a szobámat és nem a Superior képek között.
