古城の雰囲気はある、静かで高台のため見晴らし抜群。レストランの食事はボリュームが有る。

wi-fiのアクセスが出来なかった、ムスティエ・サント・マリーからの道路は、崖っぷちの険しい道を覚悟しなけ- ればならない。荷物の搬入は大変。

Fantastic facility. A novel and memorable experience. The ambiance in the restaurant was outstanding, although the food was average.

It was very difficult for an older couple to get around, although we suspected that this would be the case. More assistance at check in/out would have been nice.

The restaurant is a destination for fine dining. Gorgeous food and knowledgeable staff. To die for. The site is also breathtaking and the bragging rights....

This is a perfect place to spend a romantic holiday. The meals were splendid and every dish a joy for the eye and the palate. The mattresses very good. We spend first night in no. 9, but when we noticed the shower was broken (only hot water) we got the Tower-room for the second night. Very spacious indeed, with views to two directions. An unforgettable stay.

A beautiful unique place to stay, restaurant good

The location and the scenery. Trigance is a beautiful village. The view from the castle is magnificent. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. The manager, Mr. Thomas, is very welcoming and friendly. The food in the restaurant is very good and so is the service. The room (standard double room) was quite spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Great view from the room.

Nothing to pick on.

We liked the historic nature of Chateau de Trigance and its rural remote location. We would recommend the hotel for the experience. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate so we couldn't enjoy the terrace and scenery.

This hotel is not for anyone with mobility issues. There are many outside steps. I also would have liked a coffee or tea service in our room. If you wanted a drink during the night, you were out of luck. There was no room service that I knew of and I have no idea where the nearest store was. Even if I did, I'm sure it would not have been open.

Superb castle building in exceptional location. A real treat and unforgetable experience for my children.

wonderful setting in the mountains! The rooms are very comfortable and the food is delicious.

Very special atmosphere, the chateau has been renovated in the spirit of the chateau. I can absolutely reccommend it.

Not just a hotel but an amazing holiday experience. Five star standards at three star prices. Awe inspiring views of the Provence countryside from the room and the terrace. The manager learned his trade at the Savoy in London and it tells. Wonderful cuisine, superb service... and battlements, too. What more could you want?

To be ultra-picky, the wi-fi in the lounge was a bit erratic, but I guess the signal has to get through thick stone walls and ceilings - however without them it wouldn't be much of a castle, would it?

More a castle than a chateaux it has been beautifully restored and is a very interesting place to stay. Breakfast outside on the battlements is wonderful experience.

There are an awful lot of steps of lovely old stone but they are not easy to ascend. Evening dinner in the arched stone dining hall was rather expensive but rather pretentious in choice (pigeon??) and presentation but was not to my taste regardless of cost.

A splendid old castle in a wonderful location. The rooms were fine, the staff charming and helpful, the restaurant very good. The 23 Euro fixed price menu is a bargain. Breakfast on the terrace watching the valley mist slowly burn off was a highlight.

The fixed price menus were fine for our 2 night stay but could do with a few more choices for people staying longer. No coffee/tea making facilities in the bedrooms - but this does seem to be the norm in France.

Real old castle with interesting history on the top of mountains. Very friendly atmosphere (is is important for Fr) and delicious meal (I would give them several Michelin stars). Amazing view, clean air, big wild birds flying in the sky - special atmosphere. Definitely recommend to stay - it is unforgettable experience.

Nothing, but it is not easy mountain road to Chateau (but with very beautiful view) - so better to ride before darkness. Maybe it's some alternative route - i don't know.

Very nice, peaceful location close to the Gorges du Verdon, friendly staff, excellent restaurant (really enjoyed my vegetarian dish), even for budget travellers spending a night or two in such a place is worth the extra money.

Getting adwise in English was at times challenging, but not imbossible

Very Good overall, But petit jeuener Could be better, no fresh bread even of there is a bakery in The village of Trigance!

We were made to feel we were special guests. There was no French arrogance. We could relax after a period of intense stress at home.

An amazing place with amazing views. Service was impeccable, though an expensive night. If you want some luxury.....

On top of a mountain with a ten minute walk to a small village with one bar. The walk back was quite hard work.

Staff was great. Location and view are amazing. Breakfast was something to look forward to each morning.

There are a lot of stairs to get to the rooms, so having lighter bags was helpful (although I'm sure the staff would help guests with heavier bags).

A fantastic location and a wonderfully restored chateau/castle. I doubt this can be beaten in terms of its stunning location perched on top of a hill at the tip of the Gorges of Verdon which is spectacular in itself. Our room was clean, comfortable and decorated fitting to the chateau. We didn't stay for dinner as it was quite expensive - try Le Couchlou at the bottom of the hill at Trigance where the food was excellent and a fraction of the price. We took breakfast in Castellane at the other end of the Gorge - 14.50€ seemed quite steep to pay so we took a 25 min drive out to eat and it was definitely worth it. Make sure you visit Bar Le Piccolo in Trigance - easily the cheapest bar prices by some margin and a very entertaining hostess.
