On the occasion of a wedding, the outdoor cocktail reception was delightful, with superb staff and excellent food. The seated dinner inside was perfectly organized, with friendly and efficient waitstaff and good food.
Comfortable room and good bathroom. And the spa facilities, which are excellent.
Extremely well managed property with professional and friendly staff. Great quality food and fantastic 'petit dejeuner'.
Tip: Rent a car to avoid expensive taxi ride from/to Paris.
Staff tried to give lower grade room at check in, as I protested agreed to give rooms booked gave daughter room 6 as booked extremely nice room, but gave myself and wife far lower standard room 11 broken shower and rundown would not stay again.
the atmosphere the facilities the rooms the restaurant great food the beautiful countryside just fantastic
Staff were great!
Beautiful location. Stunning building. Friendly staff - great place to chill out
The hotel is located in a beautiful castle with nice gardens around.
The reason we booked this hotel was to relax at the beautiful spa. We were shocked to discovered that the hotel opens to external customers and we were not able to find a chair outside to lay down. After 15 min looking for a chair, we decided to move to the outdoor swimming pool to see if the situation was better, but we found it full of small children playing. The only reason to come to this hotel was to relax, and this was definitely not possible as the spa looked more like the village public swimming pool. We were very disappointed and we strongly feel we wasted our money.
the environment, the experience, was wonderful. Beautiful castle. The service of the staff, receptionist, buggy drivers, ...very good service. The room was wonderful. Diner and breakfast good.
room accommodation. At 440 euro/night, room does not include empty tea cup, neither boiling pot (to make coffee) nor complementary water bottles.
The location and grounds are superb. Everything is very well maintained. Bicycles, swimming pool and spa will keep both young and old amused without having to leave the site. Restaurant more reasonably priced than other hotels we visited on this trip.
We stayed here 13 years ago and it was fab. Last minute decision to stop here on on way home from south of France. We were disappointed to find that the site had been expanded and we had been given a room in the new development which although is in-keeping with the surroundings on the outside, it was very characterless on the inside. Far more 'Novotel' than 'Chateaux'. Quite honestly, once inside these rooms you could be in any chain hotel anywhere in the world. Would have nice if they had made them more individual and with a French feel.
good in general,
the price for spa is too high, not so convenient to have to reserve the restaurant
No kettle in room no coffee facilities in room
