Beautifully and tastefully designed rooms. Authentic period furniture. Excellent breakfast with great bread, hand-pressed orange juice. Very helpful host.

Without road name, finding Chateau with gps/ satnav required calling Chateau for directions.

The main reception rooms downstairs were very nice. The chateau looked lovely from the gardens.

Our room was very ordinary for a chateau, very disappointed. We have stayed in dozens of 'chateau' b & B's over the years and our room looked more like an upmarket motel room - very un-chateau like and badly designed. A tiny tv for the size of the room which one could not see from most of the bed. On our journey through France, we have stayed in many b & B's (chateau and non chateau accommodation), and this was the only one that did not offer a welcome drink of any kind, however, the owners were in the garden with other guests drinking champagne as we were unloading the car - rather rude we thought. One of the owners totally ignored us making us feel very uncomfortable. There was an uncomforable feeling of snobbery about the whole experience.

The chateau is in lovely grounds. Lovely continental breakfast.

We booked a superior suite, but the owners made a mistake with our booking and we ended up with a double room, so were rather disappointed. The rooms could do with coffee and tea making facilities.....even the addition of some drinking water in the room would be nice. The chateau itself lacked atmosphere. It was very difficult to find.

wonderful old chateau in a beautiful setting. warm welcome and they thoughtfully put the extra bed for our 5 yr old in the turret of our room. big and spacious room. nice breakfast.

we could not figure how to turn on the heat in the room and it was a bit chilly.

The tranquility. Grounds were lovely. Hermes the dog and the nameless cat were amusing.

There was no lock on our bedroom door

This must be one of the most beautiful looking chateaux and the inside did not disappoint either! A quaint lift helps take your luggage to your room. We stayed in the room, there are suites available which we did not see but the room was great. Very spacious, very comfortable bed. Very clean. The bathroom was fantastic, huge and very luxurious. Lovely extras like bathrobe and sewing kit available. We took a drink outside to sit by the pond which was a lovely setting. The hosts were fantastic, very attentive and very friendly. Two lovely chocolate labrador puppies were great too. Breakfast was delicious and beatifully presented in the impressive dining room. We had dinner in Vitre, a lovely old city which was well worth the look round. Would have liked to stay longer here, very memorable.

The Chateau is very impressive and set in beautiful grounds in the country. It is very peacedul and John the host is very friendly and welcoming yet unobtrusive. We were pretty much left to enjoy the Chateau as if it was our own. The rooms are very stately and everything down to the bed linen was very good quality. A well stocked library offered an electic selection of titles which would be good for an extended stay. Breakfast was fabulous, with the freshest ingredients . a very enjoyable stay in the peace and quiet of the French country side.

Very friendly welcome and beautiful chateau and grounds

The vast garden and the beautiful silence were super. It was a good chateau because I could remember the aristocrat. Chateau itself is old (of course) but room are renovated. big space and very clean. It was comfortable once getting used to the atmosphereThe owner were nice as well. Also, we enjoyed nice breakfast at big dining room.

It felt different that there were no keys. (for Chateau itself nor rooms) But I could understand this is owner’s way. (this Chateau is B&B, not Hotel) Like, they just live at quiet place as they want and share their room and serve breakfast if someone wants to stay.

Château difficile à chauffer, mais cela ne nous a pas vraiment gêné.

L'hotel avait été choisi pour le cadre, mais entre la réservation booking et la réalité, l'écart a été très grand, et la facture complémentaire salée !!

L'accoglienza e l'attenzione prestatami dai proprietari è stata molto piacevole come pure la loro disponibilità.

Ce n'est pas un hôtel mais une chambre d'hôte dans un château. Accueil aimable des propriétaires. Chambre vaste et confortable, décoration raffinée. Grande salle de bains également raffinée (en plus du linge habituel, peignoirs, gants de toilette, etc.) Très beau salon/bibliothèque à disposition. Petit déjeuner : dans une très belle salle à manger décorée avec goût, très copieux, les oeufs coque nous attendait. Grand parc avec des sculptures originales.

Il castello è meraviglioso. Immerso in un grandissimo e bellissimo parco. Le camere sono perfette. L'arredamento moderno in sintonia con l'ambiente medievale è molto bello e ricercato. La colazione è abbondante. Un luogo di tranquillità immerso nel verde.

Il parco meraviglioso a disposizione. L'ottimo breakfast. L'atmosfera elegante e la discrezione dei padroni di casa.

La posizione un po' isolata e lontana da luoghi di interesse.

Vriendelijke ontvangst. Jammer dat we er met slecht weer verbleven, dus niet hebben kunnen genieten van het mooie park om het kasteel.

Jammer dat er geen diner wordt geserveerd. Een flesje water met glazen op de kamer zou prettig zijn.

Es un sitio ideal para perderse un rato, lejos de la civilización, cómodo y agradable.

L'accueil est très agréable. Merci à nos hôtes. Le petit déjeuner est excellent. Une tranquillité s'installe quand nous arrivons au château. Très bon séjour pour nous.

L'araignée qui s'est faufilée dans mon lit pendant la nuit !!! L'orage qui a éclatée aussi pendant la nuit ! Mais ça, personne n'y peut rien ...
