Everything! Inn keepers were very helpful and lovely. Food was fabulous. Atmosphere was charming and very relaxing. I felt very well cared for!
That I had to leave!
Service and personnel; beautiful site; comfortable and classy
Wifi did not work; someone above us took a shower in the middle of the night which was very noisy - but that was just our bad luck I think
The rooms were well appointed and in keeping with the period of the Chateau. swimming pool and surrounding seating were reasonable and plenty of interesting and well maintained grounds to explore.
The food in the restaurant was very overpriced and the service extremely slow.Internet poor and spasmodic .
very impressive 18 century house beautiful interior some nice extras - tennis, swimming pool
a bit tricky to get there
Reception and entertainment was excellent Breakfast and diner could not. Be Better
Quiet and peaceful, excellent dinner and breakfast.
Friendly welcome. Very pleasant room. Excellent food both dinner and breakfast. Attractive pool and beautifully quiet and attractive gardens.
Nothing in particular.
Location peace gardens views and the house itself - superb
No shower mat. Thin small towels in the bathroom
Friendly owners and staff. Comfort and beautiful rooms, excellent food and service.
Comfortable beds, peace and quiet, location beautiful, food fairly priced and delicious, the availability of a swimming pool even though it was outdoor and freezing! The staff were friendly and able to help us where our French language skills failed.
Unfortunately, only the most expensive rooms are on ground floor so for the sake of our purse my disabled wife had to climb two flights of curling staircases to get to our room. We prefer a breakfast buffet rather than a pre-set breakfast menu.
The room is in an independant small house! The fireplace that works while you sleep peacefully. The room is decorated with great taste, we felt at home.
Our hosts could not do enough for us. The chateau was kept comfortably warm.
The menu and wine were quite expensive and after a few days the food became a bit repetitive. The tennis court was not playable due to tree debris and moss.
Great place, good staff, good food and peaceful surrounding. I would recommend.
Beautifully restored. Liked the games room, pool and tennis not needed at end of October!
Room nice, but very small. Would have liked tea/coffee in room ,but guess this is not standard in France!
Its a pretty place if you can get there from the city of Rouen.
We had a difficult time getting to this location as the directions given on booking.com out of Rouen is from both Caen and Rouen was impossible. Also tried to call the hotel with no luck tried us/fr exchanges. We arrived late 10pm in the evening a little stressed and though the hostess smiled, she was very unpleasant in her manner. She agreed to take our photo in front of the hotel but only pretended to do so, we told her thanks for the great photos! Hahahahaha . She wasn't a nice person
This Hotel had everything we desired - no complaints only praise.
Food was very good. Staff were very attentive.
Décor and facilities look dated and in some cases tired. If you stay in Room 18 beware of the sloping floor!
Very pleasant owner, good service, excellent dinner; room a bit small but adequate.
a bit isolated but not far from Giverny which is why we came.
A beautiful, peaceful chateau run by a very hospitable third generation family. The gentleman doesn't speak English, but the lady speaks excellent English, and even understood that I am coeliac, and ensured that my dinner was gluten free. The chef was happy to substitute without any problem. The dinner was excellent, and although initially looks expensive (32 euros), was really worth the money, and would have cost far more for a comparable quality and setting in England. The 'Marquis Chocolat' is amazing! Celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary in a perfect setting. We were asked if we would like to dine at the chateau, but there was no pressure to do so. Our room, the pool and public areas were all better than the photos. Would highly recommend for a special occasion (or if you can just afford it). Most suitable for adults.
Traditional French Chateau. Excellent food at a reasonable price. Convienient for touring many beauty spots
