The staff was extremely polite, knowledgeable and responsive. Upon check-in we were shown four different rooms to choose from, each in a different building on the grounds, with the different features of each explained to us. A very warm welcome from all and many offers to aid us in learning all of the attractions available in the area. The dining room was beautiful and provided excellent service and gourmet fare. We had much difficulty getting on the internet. Found we could not get on-line during the evenings, but mornings were better. There was a "house" computer in the lobby, but the European keyboard proved to be a challenge for these Americans. |

Lovely hotel, lovely room, lovely grounds, friendly staff, good location for getting to Bayeux or Port en Bessin but you do have to drive Ridiculously expensive breakfast, restaurant, bar so we didn't eat or drink anything there, instead found pleasant salon de the for breakfast (and restaurants) in Bayeux and Port en Bessin |

The place is really beuatiful, port en bessin is lovely and easy to access for food. The room was ok - for 170 a little like a premier inn, but the bathroom was nice and the building the room was in was beutiful. Because of the location and feel of the place it easily made up for the room and I would definitely stay again - even in the same room. Very Romantic. |

The accommodation was excellent, rooms luxurious and plenty of space. Large grounds and excellent facillities and plenty of places to curl up outdoors with a book / play games with children in good weather. We would definitely go back. The highlight was the restaurant which served fantastic food. A la carte is expensive but there is a Mon-Thurs €35 set menu option and other restaurants in the area if you are staying longer than 2 days. We specifically chose the hotel for it's location and outdoor excellent outdoor facilities for a relaxing break in an area with lots of things to do also. As it turned out, the weather was cold and windy so not a lot of pool time was had but had we spent the whole day at the Chateau we would have been disappointed. Dining options during the daytime were poor in our experience, with quite a limited menu indicating that the kitchen is not staffed during the day. On the single occasion we ordered food mid afternoon (fell foul of the local villages restaurant lunch closing time at 2pm) we discovered that they make an atrocious club sandwich! |

Outstanding restaurant. Decent wine list but not great. As with many European hotels, check in was after three even when alerted you would be coming in earlier and check out is at noon. Not convenient. |

This is such a special hotel, small and intimate and with touches of real luxury. The chateau is stunning but one of the real highlights is the pool, which is situated in a walled garden with a stylish glass pool-house sheltering wicker chairs and changing areas. There is a lovely terrace for drinks, super-comfortable sun-loungers and a grand lounge area with free internet and coffee table books. The service is fantastic - the evening turn-down/room freshen-up makes a real difference. Breakfast is costly at 21 euros. The mini bar and restaurant are also pricey. But it's a 12 minute walk or 3 min drive into Port en Bessin for a multitude of seaside cafes, restaurants and shops. |

The gardens, the accomodations and the serenity of the place were idyllic. The food too was exceptional. The staff were very helpful about things happening in the area and gave directions willingly and made necessary reservations as needed. I would have liked to have stayed longer. |

The chateau was beautiful and in an excellent position for visiting the DDay beaches and Bayeux. The staff were efficient, friendly and helpful. The food in the hotel restaurant was good but ridiculously overpriced so I would advise anyone to eat dinner elsewhere. |

Restaurant was duur. Weekmenu wel ok. |
