This chateaux is owned by a Thailandaise, so very good room equip, according toThailand tourisme standard. Nice garden and vignoble. Recommend a restaurant called Le Pont-Bernet, situated in Pian Medoc, which is 12km from the chateau.

It's an old chateau which by itself makes it interesting. Room was large, large bathroom (2 sinks) .... Only breakfast which was reasonable. It's very well located if you want to visit several wineries .... There is no kitchen at all. Since the region is a country one it happened to us found everything closed .. no restaurants at all ... and no kitchen !!

As I traveled with wine as objective, this hotel was a choice 100% correct. The chateau produces its own wine and so we have a vineyard to our feet. The rooms are comfortable, spacious and clean. The breakfast is good and varied. The location is strategic, between Bordeaux and Saint Estephe, Margaux Area.

Good location, had excellent room in main house, staff very helpful and pleasant, felt a little indulged. Lack of a restaurant is a minus because Chateau is in the countryside and the Medoc is quite rural with the restaurants in the larger towns. One has to drive about 15 minutes to a restaurant - nothing within walking distance. Staff assisted wwith restaurants because different ones are closed for one day out of Saturday, Sunday or Monday. Had two great dining experiences out of three choices. Our third choice just OK.

The staff was very courteous, competent, and helpful. The breakfasts were good in a pleasant surrounding. There is also a nice swimming pool with a sauna next to it. The rooms are quiet and do not look out on the (not very busy) road. It is also in a good area, with easy access to vineyards and spectacular beaches. The chateau has a pretense of being a luxury hotel in elegant surroundings. In fact, it's in need of an upgrade: peeling paint, plastic flowers, a lawn that sorely needs attention, except at the entry. Our room was very small, about half the size we were expecting, and was over-priced for the season (mid-Sept.). It has several good features, but the "mi-saison" prices are too high.

We really liked the location. The staff was really friendly and helpfull. The room was supercomfortable and there was a beautiful view over the wineyards. The pool was also nice for hotter days. A lovely quiet stay if you want to relax and discover the medoc by car. A trip to bordeaux is a 45 minute drive, we would recommend this city, it's wonderfull!

Great place and great service. The swimming pool was used by a bunch of kids/teenagers who apparently were not guest at the hotel. They were very noisy and not very respectful for people looking for quietness... We just stayed one night so maybe we were very unlucky...

We enjoyed our stay at the chateau. Our room was on the second floor of the adjacent building and was very clean and nicely appointed. The area was quiet and well situated. The buffet breakfast was good and was replenished often. Vanessa was friendly and was very helpful in advance of our arrival, planning a self-drive wine tasting tour and lunch in the Medoc area for us. The wineries that she organized were fabulous, as was the lunch in Saint Julien. Overall, a great stay and we would definitely recommend to others.

The chateau is part of a working vineyard in the Medoc area of Bordeaux. Our purpose was to visit the area and we stayed right nin it. A peaceful and pleasant place. The roses were magnificent. Getting my slightly handicaped wife and our luggage up the stairs to our room was a bit of a struggle. Reception was not always very responsive. There no bar or other such facility. I asked to taste their wine and was abandoned in the sitting room with my glass. Nobody returned to see if I needed help or advice. I did not buy their wine. There is no restaurant, They called us after confirming our reservation and offered to reserve a local restaurant which proved adequate but not as nice as dining in the hotel.

Tremendously civilized feeling of being away from the modern world. Chateau neatly decorated and luxurious, with a friendly welcome from the staff. Nearest restaurant 2km, but the chateau will rent you a bike. A very relaxing stay, especially after enjoying some quality time in the pool surrounded by the beautiful gardens.

The staff were lovely and very helpful. Each made us feel at home. Accomodations were comfortable. Especially appreciated the living room of the chateau being available for evening reading and catching up on email. Location was great for driving around vineyard/chateau areas. Will recommend to friends.

Charming chateau with friendly staff. Highly recommended. Very small gripe, but they only had a bath with hand held shower. Also, would love it if they offered dinner for guests.
