The staff was completely attentive to our needs and accomodated our lack of French. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return but a vacationer with limited time who only wanted to shop and dine in Beaune may prefer staying in town. This is an incredible property. |

We were driving and using Garmond for directions. It didn't work so well for this location and overshot the turnoff. Once we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised. Sometimes the photographs appear better than the real thing, but it wasn't so here. The grounds and Chateau were wonderful. The interior like those seen in magazines of French or English country houses. The staff was very helpful and we did bring a bottle of wine back from our wine tour to share. We were given wine glasses and only asked to not use the umbrella tables out front. There are other lounging areas in the park like front we were welcome to sit at. Very nice pool area. Breakfast was pricey for us, so we just had coffee in their sitting room. Close drive to Beaune. |

The hotel is beautiful and the staff is very helpful. It is 5 minutes from Beaune by car and parking in Beaune at Place Madeline is easy and free. The hotel is close to the expressway that takes you to Dijon and Paris and easy to get on the roads to see the vineyards. We had a very nice stay and will recommend it to friends and family. |

The Chateau was charming, service excellent, we felt "spoiled". This experience was the best in France that we have had. Just that it didn't have a full restaurant for dinner. |

We liked coming back at the end of a day and relaxing in the beautiful yard. It was soothing, and comfortable, away from the town. We had bought our own bottles of wine and in order to drink them, we were told we had to sit around the back of the hotel. They have their own wine and wanted all to use their facilities, but in wine country, you would expect folks to have bought wine. We would have liked to have cocktails on the lawnchairs, not in the back of the property. |

It is in a fairly quiet location, with plenty of parking spaces. I like the garden - especially the settings for the garden tables. It is very romantic in the evening. Not sure about the choice of colours for our room. I think the two large beams hanging out of the walls on each side of the bed is quite dangerous - safety hazzard should be considered. The pillows were too small and the mattress needs replacing. |

The suite was superb. Very comfortable and well appointed, with lots of space. The swimming pool area was also very high quality. Breakfast was of a good quality and variety of choice. The Hotel gardens were very pleasant to stroll around. Parking was readily available. The Hotel was very easy to find and a great location, with noise from the A6 Autoroute minimal, despite it's proximity. It is a perfect location for splitting journeys across France. I can understand some of the review comments from other travellers crticising the claim that the Hotel is a short distance from Beaune town centre - it is not. A car is absolutely necessary to visit the town, which restricts the guest from enjoying the Bourgogne wines ! If the guest is looking for a hotel to enjoy Beaune, this may not be the best choice as it is not possible to walk to the town. |

We had a great stay. Breakfast is too expensive at 14 euros, but there are numerous cafes in town (Beaune) that offer cheaper alternatives. It is very easy to drive to Beaune and park in any of numerous lots available outside the old town. Pool at the hotel is lovely. No food offered after breakfast, but a nice selection of wines available until midnight. |

The chateau is in a lovely setting right outside the great town of Beaune. It is peaceful and the chateau is a beautiful restored old building, with lovely furnishings, plenty of access to outdoor lounging on the lovely grounds and a great breakfast room offering delicious breakfast. We were given a free upgrade for one of our nights there, and free admission to an area vineyard. I loved being able to rent bikes there as that was a great way to tour the area vineyards! The staff was helpful and very polite. A lovely romantic getaway! Our room (that was not upgraded) was up lots of stairs - no elevator - and when we left, there was no one to help us with our luggage. Ok for us as we are fit, but may be a problem for elderly or frail. |

The atmosphere, the cleanliness of the rooms was very good. Hotel was so relaxing you never wanted to leave the place to go around exploring. From its name I expected more like a chateau but it's more like a big fancy villa. We were 2 rooms, 1 was for 4 person and the other for 2+1 child, they didn't inform the rate for the extra bed eventhough I e-mailed them about it and we learned the price at the hotel and it ended up the same price for 4 people room. |

My husband has a wool allergy. when we discovered that the matresses all had wool, the hotel owner put us in a suite and used the leather fold out couch as the bed at no extra charge |

Our rooms were so inviting and warm on arrival on a cold evening, with the beautiful deep-red decor. We loved the original features of our rooms and then the wonderful contrast of the state of the art bathroom with the underwater bath lights etc. Breakfast was served from 8 am but I personally would have preferred it a little earlier as we (and probably most people staying) were en route and wanted to get off early. We had to hang around a bit after 8 am whilst the breakfast staff (just one person) was still preparing the food. |

The Hotel de la Paix is located in the very heart of historic Burgundy, just a stone's throw from the epicurean Beaune and the train station. |
Situated in the heart of Old Town Beaune and sheltered by its ramparts, the former 16th-Century convent, is now a charming 3-star hotel. |
In the picturesque Bourgogne region, the Hostellerie Le Cèdre offers a green setting, and spacious and comfortable accommodation in the heart of the city of Beaune. |
Situated 400 metres from the train station, the Via Mokis, a charming boutique hotel, offers stylish and elegant accommodation, and a host of services and facilities including a spa. |
