Chateau de la Barge  

Chateau de la Barge is the kind of hotel you dream of while traveling the autoroute for more than 8 hours. Hospitable, nice clean rooms, free WiFi and most of all the excellent restaurant. We already gave up France as being a culinary top region of Europe (except for utterly expensive 3 michelinstar restaurants) but after dining in the restaurant of Chateau de la Barge we changed our minds. Very good quality for a reasonable price! Vive la France and vive la Bourgogne!! We can recommend this hotel to all travelers.

Very good dining experience in restaurant. Easy to find and park. Staff generally very helpful but checkout service a little slow.

Room in attic and accessed via an (uncleaned) meeting room - room cleaning had also missed a few things in our room. Weak touches.

The staff were friendly and relaxed and the outside seating area was delightful. The food was beautifully presented, was well cooked and was different. Inside the Chateau is not typically furnished but is rather quirky. I enjoyed my one night stay.

I enjoyed my meals but I really needed a plainer option on the menu at the end of a holiday. The internal corridoors were a bit dark and overbearing on route to the rooms.

The interior is hideous and remove the chateau experience we were seeking. Furthermore, since the comfort, the service or the food served matched our expectations based on the price, the whole hotel came across as pretentious. We are not going back.

J'ai apprecie l'accueil et la tenue generale de l'hotel.

Avec son grand parc et sa vieille bâtisse couverte de lierre, le lieu est magnifique et invite à la détente. Idéal pour la découverte de la région. Restaurant accueillant, cuisine excellente et soignée, service attentionné et carte des vins épatante.

cadre agréable situé en bord du vignoble et personnel charmant .Rapport qualité prix tres honnete avec un menu degustation interessant accompagné d'un verre de vin par plat. localisé près de Lyon ; un bon point de chute pour un séjour dans la région lyonnaise

Tout d'abord le cadre simplement magnifique, un acceuil chaleureux et un personnel tres attentionné. Les chambres sont spatieuses et bien equipées.
