Château de Rochegude - Drôme  

The manager was very unpleasant. He moved me from one room to the next, which I said was fine and I had no problem, but then told me that because of the price I was getting the room for through bookings.com I need to give the hotel a 10 out of 10 rating when you asked. At checkout he presented a bill which he had written on that I gave the hotel a 10 out of 10 and told me to sign it. When I looked at the bill it did not have a credit for one nights deposit that I thought that I had paid, so I asked him if he had not charged me for one night already. He said no he had not. I paid the bill in full, but before leaving I got on my computer and looked at my accounts and found that he had charged me for one night previously. I showed him and he refunded me. On the whole a pretty crappy 4 star hotel more like a 3 star.

An experience to stay in a grand building with such history.

No safe in room Room not ready on arrival 3.45pm Sunday. As Hotel under capacity Sunday night - surely Guests arriving that day should have rooms readied first ? Waited half an hour for room to be ready,no complimentary drink offered - cold juice would have been fine.Buffet breakfasts understaffed, coffee cold, hot water for tea making luke warm.Swiss guests laughed at the absence of staff and standards ! The most positive feedback we can say is the room was comfortable and cleaned well. Unfortunately the superior room has toilet in a closed area approx 1.0metre x 0.6m without ventilation, the door opens onto bedroom.

The hotel was quiet and in a very nice location

There are no local facilities close to the hotel so if you were staying more than one night it could become tedious

Le chateau est des plus agréable la chambre donnant sur les vignes et l'église nous avons reservés une table au restaurant du chateau de Rochegude et nous avons été ravis, les plats trés bien présentés, les produits frais , un service souriant, et un menu à 49€ dans un relais et chateau !!! nous reviendrons sans hésiter

Bon confort, le restaurant " gastronomique " n'est pas à la hauteur : rapport qualité-prix insuffisant

Le cadre est fantastique, les chambres grandes et propres .

Un peu de panique au petit déjeuner, mais certainement lié au fait que nous y sommes allé en basse saison avec un personnel réduit.

Personnel charmant et discret. Restaurant de très bonne qualité. Tarif booking correct pour la prestation de très bon niveau. Château de toute beauté, aucune faute de goût dans la déco.

Le petit déjeuner est indigne d'un tel établissement tant en quantité qu'en qualité.Nous n'avons pas dîner dans le restaurant car trop cher pour un menu assez banal.

L'accueil très aimable: j'ai souhaité changer de chambre et cela fut fait avec beaucoup de gentillesse, ce qui est rare. Je craignais une gastronomie surfaite et trop chère: le dîner fut excellent avec un menu très goûteux ( ah, la palombe...et le dessert...) au rapport qualité- prix très intéressant. Un endroit magique et un personnel vraiment attentif à notre plaisir.

Le cadre spectaculaire, l'accueil chaleureux, les repas gourmands autour de la truffe, le parc avec des biches en liberte, les vignes autour, le calmes, le luxe, l'histoire du chateau, le decor superbe.

Großartiges Ambiente, großzügige saubere Zimmer, absolut ruhige Lage, freundliche Mitarbeiter, deren Kompetenz verbesserungsbe- dürtig ist, Angemessenes Frühstück, Restaurant ebenfalls verbesser- ungsbedürftig. Insgesamt jedoch ein lohnender Aufenthalt mit gutem Preis-Leistungs verhältnis. Weiterzuempfehlen
