Le Château D'Etoges4 Rue De Richebourg, 51270 Étoges (Show map) Very good, Score from 394 reviews“Fantastic old building, well restored and adapted to being a hotel. Lovely old furniture helps to keep the spirit of the place. Loved the roaring fire in the main salon. It's not cheap, but worth the money. ”

Fabulous first impression as you drive up the driveway-everything you would expect from a French chateau -moat, swans, crumbling towers etc. Room (in the Orangery )was very nice and breakfast was good served in the main chateau dining room. Beautiful traditionally furnished lounge. Dinner was served in The Orangery and was excellent-expensive but worth it!

Loved the ambiance. Staff was friendlier than anywhere else we stayed during our week's trip. Dinner was outstanding, both the menu and the staff. Room for three siblings on a hiking trip was just perfect. That the spa had not opened yet.....

This was a fabulous, elegant three nights in the sleepy country town of Etoges. The chateau (castle) has a moat and many water features that run all night and have the gentle sound of rain while you sleep. There are grounds to walk with a vegetable, fruit and flower garden. We used the bikes available to ride through the local vineyards and visit several other villages and champagne houses. Breakfast (extra cost) is well worth it just for the all you can drink champagne and relaxing help yourself european style breakfast food. Tables are set in french country with beautiful Christofle silver service. Dinner is expensive but an incredible treat. You will not want to return home after staying here.

After spending three weeks traveling around France we decided to spend our last two days with a chateau experience, and what a great experience it was ! Le Chateau D'Etoges offered an excellent location ( just a short picturesque trive to Epernay) an exceptional dinning experience in the Chateau's restaurant and a comfortable room with an amazing view overlooking the ground and the landscape of vineyard and rolling hills of Etoges. Wow what an experience ! Thanks

Fairytale chateau full of old world charm and in romantic setting. Excellent restaurant and very friendly staff who made an effort to make things easy for us and our 8 week old baby. The village is perfect for a quick stopover in champagne as it has 3 cellars in walking distance from the chateau. Excellent value for money.

Very nice chateau and excellent restaurant although the wine was quite expensive (This does seem to be the norm for France). We used it as a base for exploring the region so did not make full use of the chateau's facilities. Would certainly stay there again.

This is a magical place. The service, setting and food was outstanding. It is the perfect place for a romantic vacation. The restaurant was wonderful, the best meal I have ever had. A gourmet delight. Breakfast was also wonderful and definitely worth the price. I hope to come back here again soon.

Very nice, very comfortable, only word that comes to mind is great! We stayed for one night only, within driving distance of Epernay it was the ideal place to stay afterwards. Tip: breakfast as usual, so mildly overpriced (i find this the case in pretty much all hotels) Supertip: if you haven't booked a restaurant, try the one of the chateau! Great food, classic ambiance (slightly formal), very very recommendable!
