Choose from one of 5 independent and individually decorated rooms at Le Clos Margot. It sits between Chalons-en-Champagne and Epernay just outside the center of Vertus.
Score from 187 reviews Excellent
This 19th-century mansion, now a 3-star hotel, is set in central Epernay, in the Champagne-Ardenne region. It offers classically elegant guest rooms and grounds with a terrace.
Score from 156 reviews Very good
Surrounded by the vineyards of the Champagne region, Les Grains d'Argent offers soundproofed accommodation, a garden, terrace, gourmet restaurant and champagne bar, and free Wi-Fi.
Score from 257 reviews Good
Just 800 metres from Epernay city centre, this hotel is just a 2-minute walk from to the Avenue de Champagne where the famous champagne houses such as Moet Chandon, Mercier, Perrier, Jouet De...

old world style and charm, excellent food, attentive and friendly staff
guests with dogs!
The staff were exceptionally welcoming and answered every request promptly and curtiously. The decorations and fittings were of the highest standard. The building and grounds were a real pleasure to explore. The restaurant was perfect.
The local village was very small and offered no visual attraction.
Stunning site and atmosphere. Like being a feudal lord
Excellent gourmet place, and super professional service. Breakfast buffet includes champagne
Excellent breakfast, the beautifull surroundings, setting, friendlines of the staff, the excellent quality of the dinner. Shower quality ok, the bed didn't look nice but at the end of the day gave good sleep comfort.
The room in the castle did not 100% correspond to current comfort standards. Room was too small and old fashioned decorated including the bed. Bath room was ok but too small. The price for a pet was 20€ pro night, and the pet was no entrance allowed in the breakfast room neither in the dining room, far too expensive.
Location House Staff Food
Location good, Accom good, facilities good, Food good, price reasonable. Staff very pleasant, helpful. Parking ample.
The hotel is ok if a little on the expensive side. The food in the restaurant however is exceptional.
Looking a bit shabby for such an expensive hotel.
Beautiful Chateau Very nice and helpful staff
The mote needs a bit of attention
Cannot fault lovely building and location. Building and rooms are a bit tired although that does add to the charm
My usual gripe of breakfast not being included in price of room. With a family of 5 (3 young children) it is wrong to charge Euro 18 to have a croissant and a coffee! Service in the Restaurant was initially hit and miss. On arriving I sat there for 10 minutes before I had to go inside to ask for drinks, then for menus - not very good service that night
Everything from the welcome to the departure, there is nothing to fault this place on.
Quiet location, excellent food, nice rooms (we stay in the Orangery), pleasant staff.
Gourmet evening meal the location the ambience the helpfulness of staff
the breakfast was ordinary
Everything - a great three days.
The hotel is a fabulous place to stay with genteel comfort from a byegone age. The restaurant provided us with a perfect meal and the staff were attentive but not intrusive. Excellent breakfast.
Freshly renovated, quiet rooms in the Orangerie. Very quick, efficient check-in and check-out. Very good restaurant.
Very poor Wifi
friendly staff beautiful surroundings
no aircon, no fan restaurant too expensive kind of spooky
Beautiful building, very nicely decorated. Great service
Breakfast is expensive for what it is. But that is common complaint in France
Chateaux was beautiful with tasteful decor. Restaurant food was excellent as was the service. The staff were all extremely helpful and overall enjoyed our stay
Spa was extra, lack of English TV channels very poor. Expensive breakfast with very little choice
Lovely grounds, helpful staff, pretty good restaurant nice rooms and lounges.
poor internet, high prices
A return visit. The setting is fantastic with beautiful grounds. Rooms are comfortable and the restaurant is excellent. Staff are very helpful.
We enjoyed the eccentric quirkiness of the decor. The peace and quiet of the place is super. It is a miniature Versailles but the moat still leaks! Staff attentive and pleasant. Restaurant efficiently run with superb dishes. Wines were matched to each course - a revelation!
The price, but we keep going back!
Large room. Comfortable beds. Grounds of the Chateau were amazing. Desk staff was friendly and helpful.
Did not restock breakfast without being asked and at the price they charged is unacceptable. Gastronomy dinner was good food, but very long (3hrs) and a bit over priced.
Lovely property with great grounds. The room was large and comfortable.
Wifi was too slow to use
