the staff were very friendly and attentive. rooms were very clean, very relaxed hotel, would recommend it,very central location, a couple of minutes from Carrefoure, good parking |

The staff were very helpful and pleasant, nothing was to much trouble.the room was clean and comfotable. the mini bar was a bit of a dissapointment only soft drinks on offer.Restaurant food was good and pleasantly served. |

The hotel was conveniently situated for the car ferry terminal and the restaurants. Also close to the yacht marina. The hotel was very run down and tired looking. We discovered that it is about to be demolished, and new one built. It was not up to the usual Mercure standard. |

This hotel was already booked as part of our itinerary, or we wouldn't have stayed there following a very poor experience at Mercure Chamonix Les Bossons.This hotel marginally better but this is not saying a lot. For example, tile fallen off ceiling in corridor - debris left and hole in ceiling not attended to, lift not working properly. Food was just okay although the fish 'dish of the day' was very poor. We declined to take breakfast having had fruit fizzing with bacteria at the previous Mercure! The hotel is very over-priced and provides poor value for money. |

The hotel was very clean and pleasant to stay in, rooms were comfortable infact I have to say the bed was the best bed for comfort i have ever had in a hotel. The directions / signs were very misleading. |

We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we walked through the door. All the staff we came across all said hello and smiled. The Hotel was in an excellent location and car parking was very easy. I dont think we could have had a better view from our room. Would definately use this Hotel again. |

Convenience for the ferries. Good location approximately 15 minutes walk to centre. Opposite the city of the sea museum. Hotel a bit tired looking and could do with a bit of renovation |

the rooms were a good size, with clean modern bathrooms, storage space in a lobby area, giving more space. Ideal for the ferries. Nice views across the marina. It's a good 15 minute walk to any restaurant and the town. |

The hotel is 5 minutes from Cherbourg port and therefore convenient for a late arrival or early departure by ferry to Portsmouth It is an ugly building but the rooms were comfortable and practical |

very good personnel (almost exellente), nice atmosphere (bar and barmen, breakfeast) well you should invest a little more in outside looking (need to be repaired) and lift and maybe the doors of the rooms: they are looking really strange and not adequate. |

Welcoming, friendly staff, comfortable, nice aspect over the marina and an excellent restaurant. Breakfast in the room was served on time and was generous. Some control over the room temperature (other than opeing the window) would be good. |
