This prestigious 5-star hotel, where writer Marcel Proust once lived, is right on the seafront in Cabourg.

This Best Western is located on Ouistreham, just over 1 mile from the ferry terminal and 4 miles from Normandy's famous landing beaches.
Score from 574 reviews Very good
Located in the heart of Ouistreham, a 5-minute drive from the ferry port, Hotel Le Cosy is an ideal place to relax after a day spent discovering the Côte Fleurie and the D-Day landing beaches.
Score from 272 reviews Good
Good position, walking distance to small shopping area.
Staff never around. Check-in too late, after touring all day check-in at 4.00pm would be better than 6.00pm. WiFi connectivity was sometimes a problem.
Food excellent and friendly stAaff
Lack of lift and being aged with a leg injury not easy.
Our reception was welcoming. The cleanliness & comfort in room, generous and varied breakfast, good food as well as gourmet in quiet dining room, service excellent. Location pretty and close to ferry port.
Very good restaurant. Location. Comfortable room and beds. Friendly helpful staff.
Noisy early morning refuse collection near hotel.
Smelt of food. Poor decoration and poor furnishings. No lift. cannot recommend at all.
Very convenient for my need.
Our bedroom (a family room) was large - 2 bedrooms actually, sharing a bathroom. The bed was huge and comfortable. Good location, close to the beach and 15 minutes from the ferry at Ouistreham
Bathroom was small and in need of a makeover.
The real bonus is the restaurant which has a rustic feel to it. The food was very good and the choice of Calvados to choose from was impressive. I had an aperitif to start which was Pommeau; a mixture of Calvados and unfermented apple juice; delicious! Cheese board is very good also particularly the local cheese which they pour Calvados over!
Good value, not too far from ferry in a nice area.
The smell of fish is very strong,
That excellent balance between being over friendly and in offering a high quality professional service.
Great location, can see the sea from some rooms, quiet
Perhaps a bit too expensive but I guess you pay for the location
Location, Nice hôtel, breakfast
Rooms a bit in need of renovation but clean and comfortable.
Close by the sea with a nice beach with plenty of space. Gourmet restaurant with excellent choice. Nice bathroom. Fantastic support from the staff when our dog needed vet assistance.
Bad shape of buildings. The town seemed a little dead and dominated by elderly people.
Good stay, very friendly staff, Quiet and nice place.
Very thin walls
My expensive Lobster was tough and smelt of ammonia.
Clean, fresh, modern hotel with easy waterfront access. Good helpful friendly staff. Car parking in grounds.
Nothing to complain about.
