The bathroom has not been cleaned, urine was visible in the toilet. In the wardrobe we found used underwear.
In the room there was little and strange insects that stung me and I could not sleep at night. When I went to reception to report the problem nothing was done. It was a very uncomfortable situation.
close to the train station and main attractions of Nice (sea, center, shopping, old part of Nice, restaurants), comfortable room (though it is really simple)
you shouldn't look too close/at the ceiling of the room. There are some hints that they should start renovating again
location reseption suff nice
under construction at night noisy garbage trucks 2am people scram outside all night
The room was quite dirty, I would not like to stay there again.
Near to train station.
-Staff not very helpful -Too noisy at night - too much drunk people on the street. -Bathroom too smelly -Too low lighting- so dim at night -No A/C - No Fan -Breakfast was expensive 8 euros with no much choices-no fruit no eggs and too much fruit flies around the juice area.not worth paying better go to Mcdonalds.
We found bed bugs and when we told the staff member he did nothing and did not care about it. He blamed us for them then when we asked him if he was blaming us he denied this and then blamed some ethnic groups for bringing them in. Would not stay here because the bed bugs will still be there because they don't care about the situation. Our bathroom door also had a hole in it from being punched. Not very nice at all. Especially for a hotel that is pretty expensive for what it is.
There wasn't any air conditioning in the room but the guy at the reception was willing to give me a broken fan from the kitchen.
In Nice +30 degrees in a room without air conditioning was unfair. In the internet the hotel was classify as 2 star hotel but when I checked from Nice tourism office, the hotel was classified as 'no class' . When I needed to brush my teeth I had to get a plastic cup from the reception and after shower the bathroom didn't drain water. For me, it was a bad experience!!
Although the majority of the reviews for this hotel are negative i must say that we had an enjoyable stay. I admit, in any case, that probably we' ve been only very lucky to have a good room (108 - 3 ppl room) with an up to date design, flat screen tv, and a nice shower. In the bathroom there were a few signs of dirt, not a wonderful advertising for the hotel but to be honest i must say that i've seen by far worst things. The entire structure is probably under renovation....or at least i hope so as stairs and corridors are not so nice...when we opened the window in the morning a dead rat was there waiting for us. in conclusion our experience has been good but probably the opinion of the other reviewers better reflects the general standard of this place..try to ask for our room...otherwise...cross your fingers...
The hotel is in the center and near the railway station, it's very good. The wi-fi was fast, but some times it doens't work well.
The shower was awful, it was very dirty and the water didn't go out:(((((( the service was very poor the real amount to pay was higher than it was on booking confirmation.
everything ( only the location is okey )
unhelpful staff. when I was leaving I saw the maid had propped the door open to my floor with the fire extinguisher hose
This hotel is a disaster. The smell in the building is disgusting. It is impossible to sleep well in the rooms that smell like this. The employees are rouges. After we check out and went away from the city I was charged 350 euros. So we had to come back to solve this problem. At the reception we found out that they charged us 350 for the broken table. However , we did not break anything in the room and when there we no claims about anything when we were checking out. After that they refused to show us the room and said that they do not have any keys from the room and that we can not contact their manager by phone. Only by email and threatened us to call the police if we do not leave the hotel immediately. All in all I would defenetely not reccomend anyone to stay in this hotel.
Nothing only staff
The staff was wonderful!
+ Good location, close to the tram station
- Not issue a receipt
On a cycling tour my wife had her bike and baggage stolen in seconds from outside hotel. Staff couldn't care less. Next morning met an American guest who had credit cards and phone stolen from room and staff didn't want to know. AVOID
The inside of the rooms were clean and updated.
The halls and lobby were shabby, the hotel and the breakfast wasn't very good.
Lesson learnt: once bitten twice shy.
Traumatic experience: bitten by bed bugs, lices, and mosquitoes. Still bear the bites and itch all over my body after departed for a week. Bugs-infested situation is true. I regretted giving the benefit of doubt to the hotel owners and staff. No medical compensation.
The location was decent and very close to the Nice Ville train station
This place is really not good, yes it is very cheap but we were backpacking for 6 weeks and were used to cheap accomodation. I wont say u get what u pay for because even if something does not have the best facilities etc it should still be clean and this place wasn't, there was mould all in the shower screen, no button in the flush of the toilet, a weird smell and the list goes on. My husband used the toilet in reception and it was blocked with the last persons visit and the staff did not care upon telling them. I dont enjoy writing a bad review but this was truely the worst accomodation if our trip
Olia mal los toilettes.
The staff were pleasant, the bed was comfortable enough and there were plenty of towels provided in the room. The location was close to the train station but this area is also very dangerous at night with lots of drunk men hanging around outside.
I got bitten by bed bugs, the bathroom had a dirty appearance and the window would not close and kept swinging open all night. But you get what you pay for in Nice and at 45 pounds for the night I did not expect much else. This hotel is ok for one night.
I wanted something close to the train station, so that was good. The lobby looked nice. And the wifi was quite good.
It was way overpriced for what you got. The room was hot and when I went downstairs to ask for a fan I was told to open the window (and listen to the noisy traffic). The room was very small. It would have been fine for $40, but they charged me $95!!
The Hotel was close to the station
did not get twin room as requested when changed, room was very small, could not even turn round in toilet, drains smelly.breakfast poor
