One Hostess and the night gardian

The Hotel was a dump. Full of dust the bathroom stunk mold and the joints in the shower stall were black with mildew and holes.

Wifi included, good location, staff was reasonably helpful and could speak english, rooms had no strong smell.

no parking- the closest parking was a bit far.

The location was good, easy walking distance to train station and sights.

You could hear everything, from the streets and from other guests. Staff not so friendly or forthcoming with information, nor accommodating to guest'S. Could not initially find our room as it was not numbered. Apparently recently remodeled to "update" - room smelled of glue used for carpets which did not fully complete under the bed. They did meet my request for a balcony (sort of) over looking the river - but with the smell so bad in the room had to open the window which brought in the street noise even more, although it still could be heard with the windows closed. Wifi was very unreliable and we were not able to use it. I would not stay here again.

Reasonable ratio of price and location. The hotel is less than 10 minute walk from the central train station and less than 10 minute walk from the famous cathedral. Our room was clean and the place was quiet during the night.

The hotel offers free WiFi but it did not work for us and the staff were unable to help. The room description said that there would be an iron in the room but there was none. The policy on Booking.com said that there would be a zero booking fee but we were charged the full amount immediately after booking the place. I would welcome if there was a way to make coffee and tea in the room.

The staff accommodated me by changing to a room with a view and balcony. It was very scenic with a view of the river below. It was quiet when the balcony door was closed.

Very good location. There is parking garage for the car. Nice, comfortable and romantic rooms.

Walking out the room to the corridor we had to search for the switch to turn the lights on in the complete darkness :)

Excellent location. A five minute walk to the cathedral, water tours, and the petite france quarter. Good value for the money.

-parking was a nightmare (arrived around 1400 on a Saturday afternoon in late October). I can only imagine how bad it must be in the summer. I wouldn't plan on parking on the "island," but the lot near the central train station (only 1km away) appears to usually be open. -the walls are very "thin" so much so it was very easy to hear the conversation of people in the room across the hall.

Good wi-fi on Orange, good location to walk from Gare Centrale arriving by train, near to supermarket for food, near to trams to get anywhere, near central shops and cathedral, good value breakfast (but no scramby eggs and bacon), overall excellent value

room was too small for a double and bed prevented doors fully opening

Staff were very helpful and spoke English. Th room was very basic but clean.

We had a spaceful bedroom with a balcony and a very nice view over the river. Nice furniture. Good central location and friendly staff.

The room was very spacious and had many windows. There was plenty of room for our 9-month old to crawl around!

Located in the center of the city proper. Elevator. Accessible free drinking water from bottled container.

Noisy outside due to the close proximity of bars and the trolley. No A/C or fan.

The location was very convenient because it was at a walking distance from Petite France. There was an espresso machine at breakfast that was pretty good but not included in the room charge.

The floor had a very inconvenient noise and we couldn't wakl inside or outside the room without making noise. The room was very small and old fashioned. The internet didn't work all times.

Very friendly. Exhotelsin cellent breakfast, bath tub ( these are not available in hotels in Denmark, or elsewhere or our travel -only showers), well positioned (we needed to get to and from the station easily) , very good value for momey, very helpful in accomodating our late arrival. If we are travelling from Denmamark to Spain / France, we usually make a break in Paris, but the hotel / Strassbourg provided a very good breaking point and we shall do this again. Next time we shall try andgive ourszelvesmore time to look around the city.

Balcony looking over the Ill River, light and airy, felt comfortable after a long journey to Strasbourg

I asked for a room with a balcony and didn't get one although my colleague who was there for the same nights received a room with a small porch although she had not asked for one. When I discovered this and complained, one of the receptionists was trying to tell me in a very condescending manner how this was because it was a parliamentary session and all rooms had been booked. Also, it was very difficult to connect to the wifi everyday and when I asked for help, I got the same less than helpful responses. And when I managed to connect, the connection was awful. Basically not worth the high price which does not even include breakfast.

La chambre était vraiment très jolie, bien meublée, tout le necessaire était là, ainsi que dans la salle de bain. Le petit-déjeuner était assez varié et très bon, et le personnel d'accueil très agréable et compétent.

Le seul bémol je pense pourrait être la mauvaise insonorisation des chambres.

viel zu eng bemessenes Zimmer! gefühl wie in einer Abstellkammer, nur zwei Reininungsbügel aus Draht, kein Schrank und (!) keine Lüftung in WC/Duschkabine! kaum Platz zum Bewegen oder Sitzen (nur ein Kunststoffwürfel)
