The staff (both daytime and nightime) were extremely pleasant : always polite and friendly, and extremely helpful. The lightning in the room is too dim - you could definitely not check out your make up there. But it is compensated by the bathroom, which is good.

It was extremely over-priced for what it was. You could hear all of the noise coming from the other rooms- very poor insulation. Breakfast was also somewhat disappointing for the price.

The hotel staff was very friendly. Our room was clean and functional. The room was very small (e.g. door couldn't be completely opened). There was only half of the dividing wall of the bath tub, so the water splashed on the floor while taking a shower. Additionally the room was very dark due to the window heading towards the courtyard.

Very good location, near to Petit France area and walking distance to all other tourist attractions of Strasbourg. The staff is kind. You have to ask for the login/password at the reception to use the wi-fi, it worked very well on our room. The breakfast is not included and I think it is expensive, you can easily have breakfast on a bakery near the hotel. There is a public parking near the hotel, ask the reception to stamp the ticket with the Hotel stamp and pay the ticket at the parking reception (24x7) to get the discount. The room is small. It was missing one door of the box shower on our room.

The only two good things about the hotel was the helpful staff that was in the late night shift and the location which is close to the center. The man on the desk with the late night shift was the only very friendly among the staffs, he was able to give us all the information we needed, and he was very helpful, the price that I paid for the room was higher than the price written on the check in desk for the room they gave me and they said that during this month the prices change, knowing that I booked 3 months before. The room is very small for the price I paid for a 3 stars hotel, no bathtub , the curtain glass for the shower do not close. The double bed is slightly bigger from the single bed, no refrigerator in the room, the turn the heat off after 1.00 am , it was 1 degree outside.

Location is the only positive. I travel extensively throughout Europe and Africa and there is no reason this hotel should be rated as a three star. At best it is a two star. The staff was surly, and borderline impolite. Breakfast costs were far too high for the quality; so we ate around the corner at a very nice boulanger/patisserie.

The heating system was not working. They had one of those roaring ventilator heaters that made the air dry and keep you awake with the constant switching on and off. The hotel was extremely overpriced at 140 eur per night.

We had a beautiful, charming room, 4th floor, overlooking the river and the city with a magnificent view. Hotel personnel were courteous, very helpful and available. Breakfast was ok but a bit pricey for a continental breakfast. As there is no restaurant/bar except for breakfast room, a mini bar in the room is essential and wasn't available. Also, it was hard to get enough hot water for a shower. Twin beds should be separated by a little night stand not shoved together

Very friendly staff, perfect location! The bathroom was very small, and of the panes was missing in the shower, which made it kind of tricky to shower...

We had a lovely room. It was short walking distance from railway station. It was very quiet at night and central for shopping and restaurants. We would recommend it. We did not have breakfast in hotel as we thought it was a bit pricy at 12 euro each.

The daytime clerk was helpful with questions The walls are like paper and we heard the neighbors all night. The bathroom was so small two people could not be in it at the same time. The bed although clean was a double and very small. We assumed a double room would at least have a queen sized bed. The floors are old and squeaked terribly. The female night clerk was rude and seemed in a bad mood the whole time we were there.

Nice position in the historical centre of Strasbourg. The furniture is old but everything functions well. Warm atmosphere overall. Internet works well. Breakfasts are OK. The walls are a bit acoustically transparent: if somebody watches the TV in his room on the average volume his neighbours will hear it. But all TVs were off by the late evening when I was there anyway.

I liked very much the location. The staff was very nice at the reception. The bed was good quality. I found it expensive (140 euros) for a little room. The bathroom need renovation specially because the tiles had a bit of mould in the gaps.

“Nice refurbished hotel, with an excellent breakfast buffet, nicely located within 10 mins walk from old centre and close to parking lot. Don't forget to ask hotel staff to stamp your parking lot ticket, you get almost 50% reduction on a 24h stay. All female staff looked like models ... an asset :-).” Karel, Kortemark |
