Very friendly. Exhotelsin cellent breakfast, bath tub ( these are not available in hotels in Denmark, or elsewhere or our travel -only showers), well positioned (we needed to get to and from the station easily) , very good value for momey, very helpful in accomodating our late arrival. If we are travelling from Denmamark to Spain / France, we usually make a break in Paris, but the hotel / Strassbourg provided a very good breaking point and we shall do this again. Next time we shall try andgive ourszelvesmore time to look around the city. Sounds of trams early in the morning woke us up.

I asked for a room with a balcony and didn't get one although my colleague who was there for the same nights received a room with a small porch although she had not asked for one. When I discovered this and complained, one of the receptionists was trying to tell me in a very condescending manner how this was because it was a parliamentary session and all rooms had been booked. Also, it was very difficult to connect to the wifi everyday and when I asked for help, I got the same less than helpful responses. And when I managed to connect, the connection was awful. Basically not worth the high price which does not even include breakfast.

The staff (both daytime and nightime) were extremely pleasant : always polite and friendly, and extremely helpful. The lightning in the room is too dim - you could definitely not check out your make up there. But it is compensated by the bathroom, which is good.

The hotel staff was very friendly. Our room was clean and functional. The room was very small (e.g. door couldn't be completely opened). There was only half of the dividing wall of the bath tub, so the water splashed on the floor while taking a shower. Additionally the room was very dark due to the window heading towards the courtyard.

Very good location, near to Petit France area and walking distance to all other tourist attractions of Strasbourg. The staff is kind. You have to ask for the login/password at the reception to use the wi-fi, it worked very well on our room. The breakfast is not included and I think it is expensive, you can easily have breakfast on a bakery near the hotel. There is a public parking near the hotel, ask the reception to stamp the ticket with the Hotel stamp and pay the ticket at the parking reception (24x7) to get the discount. The room is small. It was missing one door of the box shower on our room.

The only two good things about the hotel was the helpful staff that was in the late night shift and the location which is close to the center. The man on the desk with the late night shift was the only very friendly among the staffs, he was able to give us all the information we needed, and he was very helpful, the price that I paid for the room was higher than the price written on the check in desk for the room they gave me and they said that during this month the prices change, knowing that I booked 3 months before. The room is very small for the price I paid for a 3 stars hotel, no bathtub , the curtain glass for the shower do not close. The double bed is slightly bigger from the single bed, no refrigerator in the room, the turn the heat off after 1.00 am , it was 1 degree outside.

The heating system was not working. They had one of those roaring ventilator heaters that made the air dry and keep you awake with the constant switching on and off. The hotel was extremely overpriced at 140 eur per night.

We had a beautiful, charming room, 4th floor, overlooking the river and the city with a magnificent view. Hotel personnel were courteous, very helpful and available. Breakfast was ok but a bit pricey for a continental breakfast. As there is no restaurant/bar except for breakfast room, a mini bar in the room is essential and wasn't available. Also, it was hard to get enough hot water for a shower. Twin beds should be separated by a little night stand not shoved together

Very friendly staff, perfect location! The bathroom was very small, and of the panes was missing in the shower, which made it kind of tricky to shower...

We had a lovely room. It was short walking distance from railway station. It was very quiet at night and central for shopping and restaurants. We would recommend it. We did not have breakfast in hotel as we thought it was a bit pricy at 12 euro each.

The daytime clerk was helpful with questions The walls are like paper and we heard the neighbors all night. The bathroom was so small two people could not be in it at the same time. The bed although clean was a double and very small. We assumed a double room would at least have a queen sized bed. The floors are old and squeaked terribly. The female night clerk was rude and seemed in a bad mood the whole time we were there.

A very decent hotel really, great location, 10 minutes from the Cathedral, 10 minutes from trains’ Central Station. Single room not very spacious, but exactly what you’d expect at this price range. Wooden dark oldie stairs, and floor in the room, as we were entering on a museum, really clean and perfectly well maintained. Only thing, in the requests, ask for a room the looks to the frond, on to the river, not to the back of the hotel. No view there, plus there was a boiler making noise, the only con to this room.

Very nice hotel right on the river. Our room was small but very clean and compact, everything there that we needed ( although no coffee making facilities ) Staff very friendly and eager to please. Location was good, easy walking distance to Petite France and the Cathedral. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. A good overnight stay. Would have liked coffee making facilities in our room

Other than very limited parking - the hotel was perfect. Excellent location on the edge of the city center which is both beautiful and historic. The hotel staff were exceptionally helpful and the room was clean. Who could ask for more?

“Hotel Kleber was a good choice for us as it was a clean and well-run establishment near to most attractions in Strasbourg. The room was nicely appointed, staff courteous and efficient and while not inexpensive, was reasonably priced. Breakfasts were quite good and my vegatarian daughter was able to find a good variety of foods.” Ted, Alexandria |
