Staff was very friendly, helpfull, and on a personal level. Parking across the .street inside was very convenient. Room was bigger then expected Beakfast was pretty poor and bad, Hard to fit in the elevator with one bag. Very noisy when it comes to upper neighbours using toilet, bath, walking and doing private things/

Good location and easy walking distance to the main areas. Small but very clean rooms and warm (important as it was freezing outside). Good bathroom with great shower! Freindly staff who spoke English and The lift wasnt working (being updgraded to meet new ligislation) and our freinds were on the top floor, so tired legs! We booked a garage space, however the one opposite was full so we had to use one about 10 mins away. Annoying but the car was secure.

The man who let us in - after midnight - was so nice. The lady behind the desk was friendly, helpful and encouraging. They both spoke English! That was a big plus in France. Couldn't fine it at first. We arrived at night in the rain and it was difficult to find the street names. Once we found it, it was a great location.

The location of this Hotel was excellent. Not too far from the station as we had traveled by Eurostar and right next to the shops and Christmas Markets.

Noisy: in my room I could hear everything from the corridor (people getting in and out). Hence they could hear everything from my room. Hence no sense of privacy.

It is very handy for my partner and I when we visit Lille. She is disabled and cannot walk very far. Comfort Hotel Alize Opera is ideal for the cities bistrots and restaurants.

Excellent welcome, helpful and friendly staff who spoke good English. Rooms fine, bed comfortable. Don't rely on Satnav to find it round the Lille One Way system. Once you know where it is it is easy to get to and park but finding it in the first place is a bit tricky particularly in the rush hour

The location is good. The hotel denied receieving my 4-night booking from Booking.com. But I was able to show the booking on my laptop. They sent me to another hotel. Then, they called the other hotel the next day to say that they had my booking. In addition to this, the internet WiFi in the hotel was not working and, at first, they said it was a problem with my laptop - until I showed them that the fault was because of an unpaid bill to the WiFi service provider. To which they replied that it is a problem for the hotel Finance Dept...

Good locality, close to centre of Lille. Breakfast was good value compared to prices in local restuarants. Bathroom facilities need updating. Shower screen did not prevent water from flooding the floor and there was a faint smell of drains after we had been out all day and not used the bathroom.

The location was great, right in the centre of Lille. The room was quite full with the bed in it. The TV was hung to high so you could only watch it standing up.

Amazing location. The breakfast buffet was varied and fresh, though the same every day. The price was good for this location and level of comfort. The staff were helpful and their English was good. The room and bathroom need a lick of paint, but apparently there are non- smoking rooms that have already been done up and are nicer. The lift really is small, literally just for two people and a suitcase!

quite a dirty hotel, could do with a good clean and coat of paint, bed was clean, but the shower was terrible, mouldy grout, dirty skirting boards, walls not clean, paid £77 for one night, definitely not within this category of pricing, more like £40
