The hotel Chris-Tal is set opposite the slopes of Le Tourchet ski resort, ideal for beginners.
You can also discover the mountains from the air by plane, helicopter, hot-air balloon or one of the many cable car to the Aiguille du Midi, Brévent, Grand Montet and Bellevue.
In the summertime you can enjoy local activities such as hiking, climbing, hang-gliding, cycling, mountain-biking, rafting, canyoning and golfing.
You can also take a train trip on the Mer de Glace glacier or climb aboard the Mont-Blanc tram.

Getting there after a long journey through to Italy was great. Receptionist( also the waiter) strange but helpful For the money, i thought this was below par. The food on offer in the evening was limited.Did not want to spend more on breakfast so got up early and left.Did not stay long so not necessarily a fair assessment |

Convenient location, near railway station and village centre. Good indoor swimming pool. Nice continental breakfast. Extensive satellite TV channels. Breakfast could have been included in the room rate. |

Nothing in particular. There was no welcoming atmosphere from the staff. The staff simply didn't care whether they fulfilled the guests' needs or not. |

Room was very clean and decent size with nice balcony. Continental buffet breakfast was always fresh and plenty of it, ok for 9.50 Euros. Sauna and pool great after a day on the slopes. Lady at the hotel was friendly and helpful. Young guy working at hotel seemed to have a bit of an attitude, friendly customer service wasn't his strong point. Slightly further away from the main ski lifts than we thought but bus-stop 100 yards up the hill took us to Bellevue or Priaron in 2-3 minutes, free up to 1830. |

We had a large enough room for 2 adults and 2 children at a decent price. It was a bit out of the way and the front desk was not always staffed. It was closed completely (door locked!) from 10pm-8am and at other times we had to call or look around for someone to help us. Breakfast did not start early enough for those of us who had ski lessons booked in the morning. |

The hotel has a nice warm feel to it and if you make the effort to speak French the staff are very friendly. The location is good with spectaular views from the windows. The menu is limited to a lot of set meaks with cheese in every option. If you don;y like cheese there is little to choose from. We stayed 5 nights and had eaten all the set meals by then and were getting bored of the menu. |

Spacious room with kitchenette facilities was great for us with a young child. Very dated decor - needs an update, requested a balcony but couldn't have this and kitchenette so relinquished balcony. Felt expensive compared against other hotels we have stayed in around the world. Swimming pool was a bit on the cold side. |

Zeer goede en bereidwillige dienstverlening van het personeel (vooral receptie) ivm informeren naar meteo, gidsen ... in het kader van beklimming Mont Blanc. Hulp bij annulatie van reservering voor zaterdag 22/08 zodat geen annulatiekosten zouden aangerekend worden (annulatie wegens niet kunnen beklimmen Mont Blanc ten gevolge van kwetsuren van 2 van de 6 personen). |

De behulpzaamheid om elders een overnachting te vinden, super. Een klein hotel met een ruime aanbod van mogelijkheden. Het staat in het centrum van het dorp met gratis parkeren. Een aanrader. Dat er zo'n mooi zwembadje was. |
