As noted by another reviewer, we used it as an over-night stopover on the way to the Dordogne. It was easy to find, and the owner was very helpful - advising on restaurants, and helping out with trying to contact the next hotel we had booked (the hotel had actually gone out of business, without letting us know) The shower cubicle in our room was a little small, as was the bathroom.

Good hotel clean comfortable and convenient stop over location en route to Calais.Garages available in addition to car park.Brasserie le Dunjon 500 metres down the road provides good food and drink and friendly service

15 minute walk to town centre. Helpful owners. Rooms need decorating. Poor quality beds. Shower incredibly small. No air conditioning (not good on hottest day of the year!) Smell of smoke throughout hotel. Poor lifts - small and stopped in between floors. Overpriced.

Private parking, decent breakfast for the price. The hotel has seen better days. It's a bit smelly, old rooms (and small), small beds (with blankets), etc. Chateauroux is also nothing to write home about.

It was spot on for an overnight stop en route to The Dordogne. Most of the other guests seemed to be 'one nighters' too. Breakfast was 8 euros and good value for money. A help yourself buffet with fresh juice, fruit, cold meats, croissants and coffee got the day off to a good start without having to go in search of a nearby eatery. I'd use this hotel again for a journey break. The bar was closed as we arrived at nearly 10 pm and after a long drive a cold beer would have been very welcome.

le seul bemol est les heures d'ouvertures. Etant occupé de 14 h à 21 heures, et les heues étant à partir de 17 heures nous avons du gonglé pour pouvoir récupérer notre clé de chambre.

We hadden vertraging tijdens de reis en konden niet op tijd in het hotel zijn. Contact gehad met het hotel. Met de code van de deur konden we rond middernacht daarom toch noch lekker gaan slapen. Hotel is wel gedateerd maar het is netjes en schoon. Prima doorreishotel.
