The Churchill has all the charm of an old world hotel but with modern comforts. The staff were excellent at every level. They could not have been more helpful and in particular showed a personal, but not intrusive, interest in your stay and visits to places of interest. The room was very comfortable and clean with both French and English channels available. The breakfast, which was extra to our expected costs, was value for money with a range and choice of croissants, breads, fruits, cereals, yoghurts, drinks etc. Our party thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the hotel to other visitors - families, groups, couples, business people or singletons. An excellent choice in Bayeux. |

Comfortable Friendly and well informed staff Although we speak some French it was really useful everyone was fluent Better directions to parking at rear of hotel I like the fact you give the lat/longitude of the main entrance but similar reading for the parking at the rear would be helpful The lat/longitude given is on a very narrow paedestrianised street The arrangements for depositing the keys at the front desk may not be to the taste of some Not he most secure |

The rooms were just what we needed. The staff were very helpful. The location was perfect! The children loved the breakfast. Overall it was excellent. This is not a complaint about the hotel which sorted things for us but about the booking form at Booking.com. There was nowhere on the form to ask for a twin room for the children or for a ground floor room as one of our party was disabled. Nor could we ask for the two rooms to be together - the children's room was in a different building to ours. |

This hotel was advertised as having Wireless Internet in all rooms when it only has access in the hotel reception, I also booked a smoking room only to be told the hotel was non-smoking |

Staff was great, bed was above par and the hotel is quiet. Internet available in lobby for a minimal fee to those with no computer on your trip which is hard to find anywhere in France. Location is great. Us Americans are still trying to figure out the whole buday thing. Thank you. Paranoid American thing with the keys hanging by the door, there are safes in the rooms which should settle those fears and crime is the last thing you need to worry about in France. |

This was our first stop in France and the people could not have been friendlier or the service more welcoming. The rooms are traditionally European (on the small size) but very well appointed. The Churchill is centrally located for easily access to the Normandy Beaches and a 2 minutes walk to the Tapistry |

Friendly & helpful staff, nice atmosphere. Clean rooms. For a superior room it was very small and in the roof of the hotel, there were of lot of stairs to climb with suitcases in hand, I wouldn't recommend this for the elderly. Not much wardrobe space. Bar never opened in the evening during our stay. |

The staff at the Churchill Hotel were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast at 9 euros 50 was convenient and adequate. We chose this hotel for its location. The room was quite small; the bathroom, especially the shower, was very cramped. The bed was too firm for our taste. |

The hotel was very quaint and and our room quite suitable. The hotel staff were very enjoyable and helpful. Hotel was within walking distance from the train station, even pulling our luggage. They were centrally located for the D-Day tour pick-ups. Their decor was lovely and for the war buffs, included many photographs from WWII. The breakfast was modest, but it is considered a continental breakfast, so we really didn't have a problem with it. They had cereals, yogurt, soft cheese, fruit, breads and jams. As Americans, we tend to expect more food (eggs, meats, potatoes, etc.) |

It was centrally located to all the attractions around Bayeux. The staff was very helpful and considerate. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was quite good. The internet rate we received was very reasonable. The room was so small that my husband and I could not pass by each other to get to the bath or the other side of the bed. |

Center location to two most important tourist sites and adjacent parking are probably best in the city, Staff assistance excellent (Daniel especially), clean, very nice coordinated decor in room. We had lowest price double so room was small and toilet was separate from bathroom. |

The staff was excellent in offering help and advice about restaurants, sites, etc. They were fluent in English as well. I thought the continental breakfast was overpriced. |

Location I requested a room with twin beds (traveling with a friend). One queen bed, and one bed that was not comfortable for an adult. It might have been comfortable for a child. |

A very friendly and welcoming place, with comfortable, well-appointed rooms. Good location in the city itself, within easy walking distance to restaurants, the Tapestry Museum, the Cathedral, etc. |

Located 800 metres from the centre of Bayeux, between Caen and the D-Day beaches, this lovely 18th century mansion offers elegant and luxurious accommodation. |
Set in the former botanical garden of Bayeux, this 18th century private mansion is the largest of the city and welcomes you as an elegant guesthouse. |
