The hotel was tastefully decorated. The staff were very friendly. Our suite was lovely, all newly decorated with 2 flat screen TV's and a corner bath with separate shower enclosure. Also, the bed was huge. Part of the reason for choosing this hotel was the reserved parking, which we wanted as we were driving from Spain. When we arrived, we were told it was underground parking and as we had a roof box we couldn't fit our car in. Luckliy we found a free space nearby on the road (after driving round for 15 minutes.) This was the only negative experience. |

Good hotel to stay for a night or two to explore the city. Personnel was polite and helpful. Bathroom was very good (probably refurbished recently). We asked for a cot and it was arranged. As of parking - we managed to find a free place in the adjacent street. Travelers with kids in pushchairs should be ready to get over several steps. The location of the hotel it not so central but was absolutely fine for us. |

Nice little hotel close to the downtown area. The reception, bar and breakfast area are stylishly decorated. The breakfast is decent. Rooms are decorated in the traditional style. The rooms can use an upgrade in furniture, but they would loose part of their charm. If you can find a hotel closer to the downtown (there are several 3-star hotels across from the cathedral), I'd suggest to consider them as well. Even though it's only 10 min walk to the cathedral, Hôtel Villa d'Est feels like it is located on the outskirts of the city. |

Nice hotel, quite, good breakfast. Location is not so good but then the city is quite small The entrance to the hotel is very misleading, it looks like a absolute dump from outside, while on the inside is very up together. The lack of parking is an issue too. |

The staff is welcoming and courteous. The room was excellent, we were upgraded without charge to the luxury room. It was brand new with a silent a\c, a huge bathroom, very comfy beds and a window with a view on the back. The room was sound insulated, we didn't hear a noise. The breakfast was varied and yummy. There was a juice machine for fresh orange juice, it was wonderful. |
