Citadines Porte de Versailles Paris  

The staff was always pleasant and more than accomodating. the rooms were what I had expected...but I must admit I was pleasantly surprised that the rooms were quiet and I had a terrace. All in all very nice stay at the Citadine.

I really like Citadines - and have excellent experience with them in Rouen, Paris (Montmatre) & Marseille. They provide excelelnt value for money, especially for families where you want an extra room so that Mum & Dad can put the kids to bed in a sperate room, and enjoy a bit of adults' time. I also really like the well-equipped kitchens, which are great for preparing hot drinks and baby's bottles etc, if you're travbelling with family. I imagine they would also be great for business too, as I can imagine you could get sick of eating out, and buying your coffeee from Cafe's, and in Citadine you get to prepare your own...

The Night-porter could not get us a cot when we arrived at 7pm - and so our pre-schooler had to sleep on cushions on the floor....not ideal. The room was slightly over-heated for a balmy 20 degrees Paris in October. Location In 14th Arondissement was excellent - with a great Auchan supermarket at the end of the road, and great choice of restaurants in the area too... Also we loved the tram!!

As usually, Citadines hotels are quite well equipped and clean. It was a studio of 2 rooms with 4 sleeping places and a small kitchinette. Clean, comfortable, good located - just perfect for short and long stay. The supermarket is just next door to the hotel, some backeries and small cafes area very close to the hotel as well. It is easy to access by metro (+10min walking time), tram of by bus. the hotel has a very nice garden in the courtyard. It is OK to stay with the children as well.

The ventilation in the kitchen is not effective enough - you will easily feel the smell of all possible food cooked by the neighbors. The price (268 Euro for 2 nights) was a bit high, but OK for 3 persons. The staff could be a bit more friendly!

The rate here is very reasonable. A private parking lot is served by the hotel. It's also very easy to reach public transportation.

Assuming you know that one of the beds is a sofa bed, the appartment has everything you need for a self-catering stay (eg Kitchen - small but contains just about everything you require). In the immediate area nearby, there are all the shops you require eg boulangerie, butcher, supermarkets, pharmacy, doctor (which unfortunately we required the services of for one of our kids), cafes. Overall, we were pleasantly surprised with the standard.

The car parking was tight even for an average sized car. The plug in the bathroom sink did not work. A potato peeler and vacum cleaner (or at least a dustpan & brush) would have been useful additions. There were some dusty spots in the far corners.

Clean, comfortable and conveniently off the tourist hot spots.

Rather inconvenient apartment set up with multiple doors opening that we kept bashing into! Car parking was convenient though expensive @ €17/night

Quite attentive staff and very comfortable apartment. We were travelling with my family, including a 1 year old, so the apartment worked perfectly.

Breakfast is very expensive. But there are very nice little bars around where you can spend much less.

it's better than the nomal hotel, bigger and more confortable. sofa-bed is not bad, room is clean. You can find all the things you want to cook meals in the kitchen and the supermaket is just nearby

Price was excellent for the size room (full-size studio) that we had. A perfect solution for family travel.

The cost of breakfast wasn't clear at all, with brochures implying that breakfast was complementary, when in fact it wasn't...

Pas de place au parking

Le studio était très pratique, moderne, clair avec sa kitchenette. Nous en avons été pleinement satisfaits mon fils de neuf ans et moi-même. D'autant qu'il y a une supérette juste en bas de l'hôtel et deux excellentes boulangeries. Le bus 58 juste en face nous mène directecment au parc du Luxembourg et au Châtelet-les-Halles (4e arr.).

Le déjeûner 13 Euros par personne est trop cher. Mieux vaut faire ses petites emplettes juste au bas de l'hôtel. Le métro Plaisance est à 10 mn à pied.
