This time is my second stay in citadines les halles, it is very close to RER B line which I used to go to the office and airport CDG. Completely brand new furniture and free WIFI is the highlight.

Location is really very good. Pay attention, that for room cleaning service you should pay additionally as it is not included into price. Also be careful when order twin bed in apartments - it is a sofa-bed with different levels, I.E. sleeping on the lowest level means sleeping almost on the floor ;-)

Fantastic location right next to Forum des Halles shopping complex and the Chatelet train station which is very central and well serviced to get around Paris. Room overlooked the square and fountain which was lovely but a little noisy late night. Newly renovated room with excellent facilities, kitchnette etc. Hihly recommended. We knew the hotel was still completingrenovations but the jack hammering on floor above at 9am was annoying. I had problems with wifi connection too, but all in all a good stay.

I stayed at the hotel for only 2 nights with my friend. We were surprised the bed was a sofa bed which you had to convert into a double bed. There was no manual for this or any instruction so we had to experiment for a few minutes, but then it was fine. The bed was a bit on the hard side. Also pillows were not on the bed but in a plastic bag in the cupboard. The room was actually really well equipped! An LCD TV with over 30 French channels (but we played with the settings and got English language on some of them that had dual audio). The TV has a clock too on the front. Then there is a stereo, microwave, 2 burners, dishwasher, iron + ironing table, kettle, fridge with a freezer, hair drier, cutlery, plates, dishes, pots and pans... Quite amazing actually! The room has a French balcony as well. The best thing about the hotel is the location, just next to Centre Pompidou, close to Notre Dame and very close to a metro station with many lines, esp. line 1 and the RER. The first set of key cards for opening the doors did not work, room service is only one every 7 days! You get just one shampoo and one soap per room and that is it.

I've stayed in mid-range hotels in Paris many times, but this has been my favorite hotel so far. The hotel is located by a main metro hub in the center of Paris. The hotel and the room were kept spotless by the staff who even folded the towels into animals (as they do on cruise ships). The staff's name tags contained information on what languages they spoke, which would be quite helpful (I speak minimal French). The kitchen area of the room was equipt with everything we needed to prepare simple meals, although we only used the facilities for breakfast, but it is always very nice to have a warm beverage in the evening without leaving your room. Since my trip is greatly effected by how well I sleep, the comfort of the mattress is very important to me. The bed was very comfortable (I like a softer bed) with lovely down comforters and pillows. Thoughtful touchs included posting the weeks weather report at the front desk and placing an umbrella stand by the door of the hotel so that the guests could borrow an umbrella if they needed to. I had two of my own umbrellas turn inside out and break with the force of the storm winds that week, so being able borrow the hotel's umbrella came in handy.

Very convenient and centrally located; by Paris standards rooms are a good size, and it's nice to have some kitchen facilities in the room. We found our room lacked real air circulations and it was hard to get the temperature down to a comfortable one so we could sleep (and this was in January!) Opening the patio door was not an option because of noise, so we did have a couple of restless nights. Definitely insist on a room not facing the fountain because it gets very loud at night!

-Nicely situated close to Metro, Chatelet/ Les Halles. Close to Pont Neuf/Notre Dame/Cafes/ some shopping. Even the Louvre is within walking distance. -Internet faciities are free. Like all European cities the surrounds are filthy ....broken pavements/ cigarette butts on the footpaths & streets... But ,at least, the dog poo has decreased

We chose the hotel mainly for its location. It is in an area we know and is within walking distance of many of Paris' monuments/attractions. The staff at the front desk were helpful and efficient. We didn't like that there was a 13 Euro charge per head for breakfast - too expensive. We chose not to have breakfast at the hotel as a result.

It was a very nice hotel with an great central location. We had an apartment unit that met all our needs. The staff were exceptionally and outstandlingly helpful in meeting all our needs. The only problem was early morning noise from the neighboring construction site. The only problem was early morning jack hammer noise from the neighboring construction site.

“We used this hotel for our honeymoon. Location is perfect and people were so friendly. There are supermarkets around there so that we can easily buy local foods and enjoy in the room. On Sunday, there is local market around nearby subway station. There also we can enjoy local foods. This hotel is well equipped and you don't have to bring anything. We went out everyday and we felt as if we were going "home" at the end of the day. We definitely use this hotel again if we have opportunity to come to Paris. We strongly recommend this hotel.” Tomomi, Tokyo |
