I booked the hotel to see Kylie Minogue play at the Zenith arena, which is just a 10 minute walk away, so ideally suited for my purpose. It's also located 10 minutes away from the Eurostar terminal, and 5 minutes away from public transport, not that you'd need it as everything is pretty much within walking distance, well it was for me anyway. Also being an apartment hotel, I primarily cooked myself, so being right next door to a massive supermarket was also ideal, highly recommend...
location for stations and town
shower did not work room overlooked main road, with student niteclub till 0400,no probs to me but beware
Spacious comfortable room with kitchenette if you were staying for a long weekend.
Parking a nightmare. Need instructions beforehand. Utter nightmare parking accessed major road, can't hear instruction and access codes because of traffic noise then need access code for under croft and lift to hotel.
Convenience Kitchen facilities Parking arrangements
Discovering afterwards I had been charged for extras in a currency other than Euros
there's no scissors the price increase year by year
Too many password to have access at the hotel!! password for garage...password for lift....hotel is not a bank..
location and cost
breakfast very basic
easy walk from the bus station only france has no street names easy check in and request for taxi for next morning arranged. liked the lifts. liked acces to drink of coffee or cold water any time in little meal area. Lots of convenieces if staying for length of time. Good shower and hot water.
had to put up with a leak in front of the toilet door from the ceiling The staff told me about it on arrival. It got worse next day.It made me feel uneasy for risk of fire as it was near cable in ceilig. I ended putting buckets from kitchen and bathroom to catch drips.I thought the bath could have done with a safety rail to hold on to as one stepped in bath for a shower.I am 70!
The fact that we arrived and our room was given up to someone else. We was offered a conference room to sleep on the floor. It was not until 5am that we got a room to sleep in and we had to be up at 8am to leave so had no sleep at all. Would never go to this hotel again
Proximity to Lille Europe station and shopping centre Spacious and comfortable rooms
- close to supermarket - nice staffs - self kitchen
Convenience. Nice apartment. Secure. Good view.
Nothing to like really only the location is good.
The customer care very bad booked an apartment weeks ago for few nights when we arrived gave us our apt but no safe complained gave us another apt but someone was still in it. Gave us another apt (3rd one). No extra pillows, No top to the teapot, & light bulb not working on the side of the bed. Gave us no details of the wi-fi when we checked in had to ask for them. Stayed a few times over the years did up the apartments but the service is very bad not very efficient. The charges to stay there is too expensive for the service they give.
Near to both main train stations. Bed was comfortable, room was quiet.
No water for drinking in the room.
Smack between Euralille and Gare Flanders and convenient to car hire at latter and motorway access. Very centrally located. Large shopping centre in the building including Supermarket. Easy stroll to old town and lots if food options.
Being near stations can get a little noisy especially if you have the windows open for some cool air. No aircon that we noticed and we had warm days?
The hotel is situated between Lille's two main railway stations. We travelled by train on several day trips, so found this most convenient. Quick breakfast in our well appointed apartment, crossed the road , two minute walk and we were on our journey. Had a nice quiet room so no noise from the stations.
Nothing to dislike. The apartment was fine for two people ,but next time we will upgrade to a bigger apartment meant for four and give ourselves a bit more space.
Large room, opening windows, and proximity to shops, supermarket and train station. We caught train from Paris to Lille and Lille to Calais.
There was nothing that we didn't like.
Great location - easy access from autoroute by car and a few minutes from each railway station. Secure parking in basement park. We were using TGV to take elderly parents to Paris for day - without the hassle of staying there. Also easy walking distance of Lille old town, shops and squares.
Some little problems with building such as power socket pulling out of wall, not dangerously, and bath drain plug control not working.
Very close to city centre. Large well-equipped room. Large comfy bed.
Small toilet compared to the rest of the space. Parking very difficult to find (actually impossible to access without getting access codes from reception, and there is nowhere to park while you do so)
Very central can walk anywhere in Lille. Fantastic views from the rooms, comfortable beds, friendly and helpful reception staff. Excellent value for money.Everything you need in the rooms. Windows that OPEN so lots of fresh air.
Difficult with codes from Garage up to Reception. Noisey pan pipe music outside the station which you could still hear loudly on the 10th floor really irritating.
The hotel was a good value. The rooms were clean and the staff very helpful. The location was perfect, near transportation, shopping, and other resources.
good location, great facilities.
location, price, the way management & reception desk staff handled issues.
apartment floors filthy and sofa-bed bedding not changed from last occupants. however, this was rectified immediately and with good grace.
Very good location, out of city centre but within a very easy walk. Apartment was lovely, we were on the 10th floor, a corner apartment, so we had beautiful views across the town, especially at sunset. Staff were very helpful and the hotel's security was excellent. They lent you shopping trolleys if you wished to shop at the Carrefour next door which was helpful.
location to station and city centre
Had booked a double bed and got twin. shower flooded bathroom floor when used
