The hotel is situated at the city centre, nearby railway station and Vieux port. It's convenient for all travellers. Hotel room provides a good small ketchen. Facilities like oven, micro-wave, frige, cooking stalls etc., are all available.

There are small weaknesses -- no room service unless you are staying more than one week, and air-conditioning is not so good during summer days.

Poor Room Service

Location was convenient and sits at an easy walk to the main shopping area or the port.

Paint flaking on walls, very old sofa bed, mould build up on roof of balcony, toilet light broken when we arrived. I understand that it isn't a three or four star hotel but those things are just practical appearance necessities.

Good facilities available - laundry, cooking etc. Good location and only a short walk away from the port and old town.

Staff very unhelpful. We were there on Bastille Day and had done some internet research which said there was a parade on that day and fireworks. We asked hotel staff for more information about the parade. They were very disparaging and said there has never been a parade in Marseille for Bastille Day and were very unfriendly about it. On Bastille Day we wandered down through old town at 10am and found a parade! Luckily we got to see most of it, but no thanks to the hotel staff. Laundry room also constantly locked and no English instructions available on how to use machines.

In room internet is nice, staff was helpful. Having a kitchen was great.

The room smelled a bit off, the area seemed a bit unsafe, and the beds weren't even beds, they were pull-out couches.

The apartments were small but very comfortable and had everything we needed - for a family of 4 it was perfect: with a double room plus a pull-down sofa bed sleeping 2 in the living room we simply put the kids down to sleep in the bedroom, invited our friends round for supper and an evening in, and lifted the kids through to the lounge once we were done. That way they had the telly when they woke in the morning and didn't disturb us! Also the wifi was very much appreciated as my husband had to work online one morning. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the price worked out cheaper than staying at a hotel considedring we were able to make our own breakfasts and snacks. Definitely recommended.
