Citadines Antigone Montpellier    

Well located to get in and out of city and to the city centre by walking. Clean and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable and the unit had everything you needed.

Great access to city centre.

The bed was a pullout couch so was not that comfortable.

I liked the home-from-home aspect: independence of cooking, eating and going out when we liked, whilst also having the support of hotel-style 24 hour reception and facilities. Lovely market with fresh produce across the road, local cafes and restaurants, beautiful fountains in the square. The location was ideal, within easy walking distance (10 mins) of both the old city and the new developments by the riverside, and trams right outside the door. Montpellier is a beautiful city, and we had a relaxing and enjoyable holiday.

They have there own garage, good for people who travelling with car and good locatin

The hotel is too old and dirty, dusty, need to renovate asap. They gave room closed to the street which full of dust at balcony, and the noise from tram got in through our room. The garage was so dirty. For my trip almost 15 days this hotel is the worst hotel for me in this trip

While we had breakfast on the thursday morning of our stay,( on the house ) i would consider 9.50 expensive for what was available, but maybee i am not in touch with prices in France. i guess its the average price, but only commented, to complete your survey.

Very good and spacious facilities, excellent to be able to preparefood and eat around the dining table with friends who rented an appartment next door. reasonably close to Montpellier centre and right beside tram stop.

Nothing negative to say

the feeling of being at home, not in the hotel. Recommend for all who appreciate freedom and relax.

I loved the spacious rooms and the fitted kitchen area. Booking in and out was quick and convenient with no fuss.

I have stayed at Citadines Antigone on many occasions although not for some time. In previous stays we have been provided with a vacuum cleaner which, given that cleaning only takes place once per week, is a vital piece of equipment. However, on this occasion, no vacuum cleaner was available.

Staff was very kind. Room was as expected, nice and clean.

The balcony door could not be closed tightly and as the wind was blowing heavily the door made strange noises.

Price and accomodation easonably ok, although the hotel is fairly démodé and hardly upgraded since I lived there for a year in 1992- 1993. Location is good, near city centre, and tranway stop is in front of the building

Upon arrival in the evening of 18/10 the staff member noted that payment (guaranteed by credit card) had not yet been taken by the hotel. He, being already not too polite (do you speak English he said to me who’s French is fluent, while his English clearly was not!!) requested my credit card and without further consent or showing me an invoice with the amount, credited my card for an incorrect mount (€ 672+ € 7 tax) instead of € 584 + € 7 tax). The error popped up the evening before I left (24/10) and had been corrected by a more friendly and accurate employee, although it appeared impossible to produce an invoice.

Clean, modern, comfortable and well located

Apartment had kitchenette which allowed us to cook our own meals and saved us some money. One of us was quite sick while staying in Montpelier, so we didn't get to see any of the town during out short stay, but there was plenty of food shops available in the surrounding area and the staff were great at suggesting places that were open at the time of day. The room was also very comfortable and had plenty of space for us to stay in most of the day, while recovering from sickness. Hotel also had it's own laundry where you can do your own washing for affordable prices which is a definite plus.

The double bed in our room was only a sofa bed which we had to unfold and set up ourselves (it was already made up with sheets/blankets etc). Just made it a bit awkward and it also wasn't the most comfortable bed we've slept in while traveling. It's fine for a couple of nights, but wouldn't want to stay a week or more.

The location not far from centre and tram right outside of door! Had a cage to lock bike in which we had prearranged anyway

Receptionist was a bit patronising! Rather vague about some of our requests We arrived on the saturday at our final stop before flying home from Montpelier. W e had finished the last stage into Montpelier after doing the coast to coast cycle route from Bordeaux to Narbonne after cycling in torrential rain, head winds and thunder and lightning we were absoloutetly dripping wet. My husband stayed outside with the bike and I went in to tell them we had arrived and the receptionist on duty gave me the impression that arriving dripping wet wasn't what they wanted. I explained that my husband needed to get out the rain and that we had cycled a long way and were tired and wet etc and asked where we needed to store the bike she was far more interested in getting "her " piece of paper signed by me before delivering customer service.

The location is great, the hotel is just a few hundred metres from the airport shuttle stop at the Place de L'europe. The tram stop is right outside and the Place de La Comedie is just a 10 minute walk through the shopping centre. We stayed in a studio apartment for 2 nights with our 20 month old daughter. It was spacious, clean and functional.

Nice clean hotel just a short distance from the historic centre of Montpellier.

The breakfast was a bit simplistic.

the apartment was not very clean air conditioning ducts were filthy and the curtains and sofa bed cover were covered in stains. The small patio area was a mess.

Very convenient, close to Marche, Polygone Centre, spacious clean and air - conditioned.

Excellent location,very central location, right beside tram,

Parking - had to pay extra for parking, parking was underground and had to cross tramline to get to underground parking. Also you need your room key in order to access parking ie to open garage door, once underground, the parking is very tight. If in a wheelchair - would be difficult to access reception as several steps to access main entrance, would be possible to access reception via lift from underground car park however you would need someone with you to get access key and open garage door first. Room - bathrooms not suitable for wheelchair users ie no wet room shower.

It was in a quiet location but only minutes away from the hustle and bustle if the main town. Great place to stay and reasonably priced.

I loved that is in the near the center andthe rooms are clean, well adapted, with plenty of space (we were 4 pople) and the forniture is comfortable. I recommend this hotel for small groups that want to know the city and get a nice sleep.

Is not well signalized, so it is a little bit to get there.
