Hotel is approx 10 minutes walk from train station. Staff speak English and were very helpful in answering questions about services in the city. Room was not cleaned during our 6 night stay in a self service Apt. This was known at the time of booking. Although situated in the "old" city, the area is pretty quite at night. The garbage collection trucks were the main "alarm clock" in the morning at about 6 am. The Apt was well set out with separate Bathroom, kitchenette (with basic kitchen facilities) and Bedroom. Bedroom Included, tv and bench where you could eat your self prepared meals. Would have no issue staying in the same venue.

I was disppointed about the suite, which we got. I had booked a Citadines in order to get a spacious room especially because I was travelling with my 2year old son. The "suite" that we got had the size and comfort of a regular hotel room.

Pleasant behaviour of the staff at arrival (13/2 7PM), quiet (as requested upon reservation) - and comfortable and meticulously clean apartment. No "good bye, have a nice trip, nice of you to have stayed with us, a la prochaine" from reception staff upon departure (16/2 7 AM). The invoice was handed over the desk without a word, let alone a smile. Off I went into the cold and damp to catch my train to the airport. Not the end of the world, of course, but....

Great central location, close to the main square Place Kleber and tram stops as well as shops. Bathroom wasn't particularly clean and, whilst we didn't expect a palace, the room was the smallest I have ever stayed in. I also found the front desk staff, whilst efficient, to be not very friendly or welcoming.

Nice and roomy apartment with good kitchen facilities and located right in the middle of the city with parking. Both bedroom and lounge room had a tv. Only complaint was the floor was very dirty and being a wooden floor was noisy.

The price is very good for facilities inside the apartment we get and for the location which is right downtown. The service is not very good. The cleaning staff did not change bed sheets for the sofa bed and the floor mate (in the bathroom).

The apartment was very well equipped and extremely functional. There were two televisions; one in the living room, where our friend slept on the pull-out bed and one in our bedroom. We could watch different channels in different languages. The hotel had its own garage and was only a 3-minute walk to the heart of the pedestrian city center. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Perfect location, friendly staff. We were a group of 4 friends, took a 2 rooms apartment, it was the best value for money! Just a minor comment for those who will stay there: pick up tea bags/coffee at the reception, there's nothing in the room. We saw it after we checked out:-)

Location, close to everything! Quiet street, no noises from the outside. First of all scandalous and totally unsafe, not acceptable entrance gate to underground parking, level -2. Just few centimeters left on the side of side mirrors to get to parking spaces. I damaged one of the the bumpers of my car. It is also scandal to have retractable from the wall bed!!!I This is below any imaginary standard in almost 100 euro per night hotel. No notification about it in hotel write-ups.

location great. Rate good for large group with self catering option but balance with dislikes mentioned. Our room was not ready when we arrived at 3pm despite being advised on web that check-in was 2pm. We had 4 tired children under 7 yrs and grandparents and luggage with nowhere to go but wait in the small lobby for a further half hour. Parking was atrocious. As others had advised way too narrow and limited spaces. We parked in the Parking station nearby after wasting half an hour attempting to park our car in the hotel and it was only 50 metres away and 1 euro extra than the parking rate of the hotel. Rooms did smell of smoke as other reviewers advised. One of our 2 rooms was seriously depleted of utencils, crockery etc - lucky we had 2 rooms and could use the other room's.NB no cheese grater in either room!!!

Nice hotel, really close to the center of Strasbourg. Probably it is not the best in class in terms of furniture and luxury but good for a short stay in the city with the family. Rates are reasonable. After all is a good choice. Extra pay for car parking and breakfast, no frigobar, only two chairs in the dining room and a small bathroom are the main cons. Reception and corridors are quite unconfortable.

The apartment is very practical. The kitchenette is up to date and functional but small. Brush up on one-pot meals. Toaster, kettle, microwave and iron/ironing board provided. The sofa bed in the living room is comfortable and practical, divides into two separate beds. There is a flat-screen tv in both the living room and the bedroom. The living room also has a dvd player - very welcome, as the tv channel selection is limited. With teenage children, take their Wii, X-Box etc. and bring a selection of cables to connect to the tv. WiFi in the room is also available, and reliable. Super u supermarket and some bakers on Rue du 22 Novembre. Subway is at 47, Rue du Fossé des Tanneurs for when teenagers get fed up with Alsatian food. Parking. It's under the building and it's terrible. If you have a large car, it will test your skills to the max. EUR9/person/day for breakfast is extortionate. Better to go to the local bakers. No air conditioning. The directions to the hotel are poor, as Strasbourg has a complicated but restricted one-way system. You need to follow signs to the Place Kléber and then go round the block to get to the hotel. Ok once you know how. Don't forget the hotel is in the middle of a city. It's not that noisy, but life starts early and you shouldn't be surprised when the delivery lorries start work just after the drunks have gone to bed!

Great location and the carpark underneath although tight is very handy. Wifi access in the room was good. Once we pulled the roller bed out for the second child we could not fit in the room. I called reception and their advice was to move the desk and rearrange the room in order to get the rollout bed out. As our kids were small they made do jumping over beds. No power charge points in the main bedroom.

“A perfect solution while visit Strasbourg and the wine rout. The hotel situated next to the highway exit, 3 minute walk from “Les Halls” mall & 15 Min. walk to the center of the old city. The room is big, quiet & got a kitchen. You can get your breakfast ingredients at the Supermarket & prepare your own breakfast. They charge €10 a day for parking, so you can live the car while waking to the city or make your day trip and come back in the evening with an easy approach from the highway.” Rami, Yehud |
