The location only
The hotel is dirty Towels are dirty No mini bar as it is mentioned in booking.com Poor staff No room service Small uncomfortable restaurant No telephone in the room that you can't contact the reception for any condition No a.c. No carpets on the floor. No parking for the hotel. Not recommended for families that casinos are on each sides of the hotel.
Fairly basic rooms and poor wi-fi connection
Location is in the heart of the town. Great staff! Complete in accessories. Good furniture. Protected parking Clean and nice
Tiny tiny room, no place for baggage which we had to leave in the car. Separate WC from bathroom, unhygienic solution.
Good location, well appointed apartment, good value for family of 4 with two rooms, one with doube bed and other with sofa that converts to twin beds.
The room was very hot and stuffy as there was no AC. Couldn't open the window as a lot of street noise, so I wouldn't recommend staying there in the summer unless you can get a room away from the street.
The location of the hotel is great, within easy reach of the cathedral and old town, train station (easy 10 mins walk) and tram stops. The room was reasonably spacious with all the usual features. Comfortable, clean and tidy hotel and room and surprisingly quiet at night (even when the music concert is on in June). Staff are friendly and happy to help also being able to speak English makes it much easier. Good value for money. Recommended!
Breakfast could benefit with some meats and some more cheeses. Nothing much to put with bread!
Very quiet and very close to all the famous attractions of the city. There is also off street parking.
If you have a large car the garage can be difficult, especially if you have to drive to a lower level. Very tight turn to lower level.
It was Nice to have free tea and coffee service at the lobby.
Hotel was well located and staff were helpful
The hotel is getting older, needed a good air out, shower screen did not work properly
Location Possibility of renting a few apartments and therefore be with a large group of friends
Nothing was outstanding, but there is nothing I didn't like
The location of the hotel was near shops n restaurants. It was an easy walk to sights. The place was also v clean.
Temp was in the 30s when we were there and the room was v warm. On weekends it can be noisy with the window open.
Geoffrey on reception was very helpful and polite
No air conditioning
Staff were really helpful with everything we asked of them e.g. recommending and booking family friendly restaurants.
Keeping in mind that we stayed in the hotel just for a long weekend and were a couple with a 3-year old child, the below points were very important for us: - Location - A very short walk to everything in the old town, basically next to the wonderful Place Kebler where the kid could run around, as well as the Tram Station. Yet it was not in the middle of the touristic hustle and bustle, allowing for a quiet night. - Eating Out Options - There are a Tapas, Chinese, Japanese, Thai restaurants to name a few just in the immediate vicinity of the hotel, as well as other options around. You might want to eat in the fancy places around some of the city landmarks, but with the little kid, it was very convenient to be able to eat so near to the hotel. We went to both the Tapas and Chinese places and were quite pleased with the quality. - The mini-market right in front of the hotel. It is open every day of the week until 9 PM. It has all the basics, plus fruits and vegetables - The kitchen - impressive, especially given how poor everything else was in the room. Dishwasher, Microwave, Stove, Water boiler, all kinds of utensils. Also very clean. - Nice Staff and speaking English. This is not to be taken for granted in the neighboring country where we live for example.
- We were quite surprised to find out that what we had payed for, was not what we were getting. On booking.com it was possible to book a Superior Double Studio for a higher rate. According to the description on the site, the difference with the Standard Double Studio was 5 m2 more and a sofa. This was crucial for us, since we intended to have our son sleep on the sofa. We also added that we had a child in the special comments box just to be on the safe side. Comes out, there are no rooms matching such description in the hotel. There are no rooms with sofas at all, the room is not really bigger and the difference in money we paid is really just about the bed being a larger one than the standard. Besides the practical points, we really have an issue with how we were misled by the site/hotel. I have to mention that the staff employee from the reception desk did what he could to correct the situation. The room assigned to us was so small that it was impossible to fit an extra bed, so he provided us with a cot, although that didn't fit easily either. -Here we come to room quality. Maybe if you are a young couple you can live with it, but otherwise, this is the major reason why I wouldn't stay at this hotel again. I do not know how other types of apts. are arranged, but I refuse to refer to our assigned living space as an apartment. Once the Murphy bed is down, there is literally no room to move, even to sit down at the one single chair, or eat without standing up. You might think you will make some space by putting the bed up, but in that case you will have nowhere to sit anyhow, since the furniture is spartan. The shower/bath is quite good, but the toilet is separate from the rest of the bathroom, so there isn't even a sink in the toilet room to wash one's hands in. - Parking - It has been mentioned by many, but you have to experience it to appreciate the comments.
Not possible to stop the car to unload and load the luggages upon arrival and departure. Wifi is too complicated. Parking places in the garage are ridiculously small and manouvering inside is extremely difficult.
It was very close location to the city center. Staff were kind and helpful. Size of the room was relatively moderate for 4 people with this good price.
Location was very nice. The room had everything we needed to make our own breakfast and dinner. The staff was very friendly specially an Asian Girl who gave us a lot of informations about the city. She is so lovely.Wi fi was fast too.
Nothing. Everything was just perfect.
The room was clean, nicely furnished and comfortable. The staff was friendly and ready to help. Very nice experience, recommended!
The bathroom door was broken and couldn't be closed properly. We booked a room with twin beds, but they gave us a room with a double bed. However, we didn't complain or ask to change room, because it was not so important for us.
the man at the front desk was helpful
in our room, #212 there were loud sounds of rats in the walls, chewing wood. It took a while until we were able to scare the rats away.
location, opening time, free wifi, free coffee, lighting in living room and bedroom
car park, lighting in bathroom
Only the location
No cleaning Construction work noise Thin walls Terrible wifi-connection
No tea and coffee provided in room.
