Isolated and no services after 6.00pm on Sunday. Nowhere to buy food or drink. Vending machine almost empty. Left with no telephone to order out as receptionist told us not to pay til next day and needed deposit to use phone. Also 15 euro deposit to use hairdryer insulting! |

The place is quiet, and is located near a large supermarket. Will recommend this if you have your own car as it can be difficult to get around without your own means of transport. Has a full kitchen so will be good for those who prefers to cook. Has a laundry room. |

good walls and carpets mean less unwanted noise, a kitchen and bed , cheaper than just a hotel room. there was no kettle, only a coffee maker. |

The transportation is better than expected, as there is a bus to avignon center, and quite convinence. And it is good to have a kitchen in the room |

Excellent as a serviced apartment. Fair location. Very Clean. Good for those travelling by car. It's not actually walkable from the hotel to the downtown. |

The room was quite spacious and I appreciated having the kitchenette. The bus service was good and ran on time to and from Avignon from almost outside the hotel. The free cable internet service was fast and efficient. If the hotel expects the guest to leave the kitchenette clean, plates washed and put away, etc before departing, would it be possible for them to leave a small quantity of washing up detergent and a sponge for this purpose? Also having a detergent dispenser in the laundry would be useful. I was only staying for a few days and did not want to purchase a whole box from the supermarche - some hotels sell laundry tabs at reception, this would be a good service here. |

The great facilities and good parking and how quiet it was and especially the great value. Best value we found in all our stays at hotels and will definitely try and stay in some of the other locations on future trips. I was disappointed in the air conditioning which didn't appear to work in our room plus the lack of some things in the kitchen and the directions to the hotel were a bit misleading. Otherwise it was hard to fault. |

Quiet location with good breakfast and facilities, walking distance (5 minutes) to TGV station, regular and cheap 10 minute bus ride to Avignon with terminus close to regional rail station. Sound base from which to expore the wider region A bit strange to be asked to pay for all 6 night costs on arrival. |

It was clean and comfortable. The location did not suit me. As a traveller looking to experience the local culture and this hotel based in a commercial area was not condusive to my needs. This would be better for travellers with a vehicle and travellers who wanted to make use of the kitchen facility to prepare their own meals and eat in. |

Coveniently situated close to TGV station and with regular shuttle bus to city centre. A lot cheaper than the Holiday Inn Express almost next door but more basic. Very good value. The reception is not always manned so be sure to have the access code or make prior arrangement. |

The hotel was extremely close to the train station which was very convienent. Although it is a little way from the city centre the bus was timely and easy to catch. The lady at reception was pretty helpful providing information about the bus, supermarket etc. The room was clean and functional. We were pretty well prepared for this hotel after reading the reviews so the fact that the reception isn't always open or that you don't get washing up liquid for the kitchenette wasn't a shock or suprise. The room was very quiet at night. The bathroom was a little smelly when we first arrived.....like the room hadn't been used or aired out in awhile. While there was a pretty well stocked kitchenette, there was no kettle. |

Excellent value for money. Apartment had two halogen hobs, a microwave/grill, coffee machine and fridge. The location was excellent, a ten minute drive or bus journey. The buses were every 20 minutes, the stop is in the road just outside the hotel and they run like clockwork. The room was clean and the staff very helpful. No kettle provided. |

Excellent service from staff, helping out with questions about flight bookings. Good location not too far from town, in a quiet area. Excellent value for money for a short family stay (spaceous rooms and bathrooms, swimming pool). The children were excited about all this. |

clean, kitchen facilities Not easy to find. When I made a booking, I clearly requested an extra bed, but it was not ready. My kid had to sleep on the floor as the reception was closed when we arrived. Also, I booked two rooms for family trip, and they give us rooms in different floors even though the room next the mine was available. |

We went into Avignon by bus. We had not realised it was so far. We only met two staff who were both helpful. Seemed understaffed. When we arrived it was baking hot so we went to ask the bus driver if we needed to get the bus. It was so crowded we couldnt get to him to ask where to get off and ended up going into town and not being able to find a taxi back. We even wondered whether the hotel existed at all. This spoilt the first night. Night porter was very helpful as no receptionist he did the job. |

It was easy to take the bus from the hotel to the centre of town. The hotel was VERY stagnant in air flow. The beds felt old and grundgy, the windows would not stay open. The reception can close before you arrive, with little to no instruction as to what to do to actually get your room...same with check-out. |

The Saint-Roch hotel is peacefully situated in Avignon, within walking distance of the historic city centre and just 5 minutes from the train station. |
Located 10 minutes' walk from Avignon's centre, Ibis Centre Pont de l'Europe is the ideal base from which to explore a town renowned for its architecture and culture. |
The Danieli Hotel is situated at the heart of the 'old city', within walking distance from the Palais des Papes. It is also close to the famous Pont d'Avignon. |
This hotel, set in a 19th century building which oozes charm and character, overlooks the picturesque Place de L'Horloge in the very centre of Avignon. |
