I choose this hotel because It has parking space, the location is not bad for ppl have cars. The room is big and clean, has kichen and fridge.

If you need a late checkin like us, do verify and verify with the hotel, there is nobody in the hotel after 6pm(probably 6pm?) and I didn't receive any passcode to enter the hotel or unlock the box which has my room key. If not there were other customers checked in late who opened the door and box, we very likely do not have chance to enter the hotel and get our room key

While it was not near the city centre/Avignon Centre sncf railway station, there was a regular shuttle every 15 minutes that took 7 minutes to get there. This cut our hotel costs. There is also a supermarket about 6 minutes walk away. Our room had cooking facilities which was very helpful. Breakfast supervisor Ms Euland was very friendly and made us feel very welcome.

Our room was next to a fire door, which is fine. However, the door makes a lot of noise each time it is opened. Request for a room away from the fire door.

In my opinion the facility is very very good compared with the price. It is absolutely nothing better than a hotel that makes you feel like home during traveling. I feel comfortable with the facilities, the room space and so on.

If there is any drawbacks about this hotel, well, maybe its location. But it actually is good when you arrive very late at night, because although it is a little bit distance from the city, it is quite near the tgv station.

The apartment was very clean and quite spacious. The kitchenette was very well equipped.

The apartment was a great location for the TGV station, but was quite far away from the city. We had to catch a bus in and out of the city every day.

We had earlier stayed at Citea Tours which was great. Based on the Citea standards, we chose Citea Avignon. Although the four of us enjoyed our 2 days stay there, we were disppointed that the Avignon standards fall below that of its sister hotel at Tours

The Citea Avignon is an older hotel apartment than its sister in Tours and its array of breakfast offerings also fell short of the Tours place. The Tomtom GPS I had could not pick the address (just street) and with the Citea name less prominent and another name beginnning with a K prominently displayed...... I missed finding the place twice.

The location with secure parking, train station, boulangerie and supermarkets within easy walking distance, frequent bus to Avignon (3/4 times an hour till late at night for 1.20 euros from stop outside hotel) also easy in/out road network for touring area. Pleasant, helpful staff and easy arrival instructions emailed a week in advance for arrivals after reception closes (21:00 weekdays, 18:00 weekends). Extra pillows and broken lightbulb fixed immediately The room facilities eg kitchenette with fridge, hotplate, microwave and crockery, cutlery, utensils. Also daily linens service. Heated towel rail a bonus! Small table and 2 chairs. Free in-room internet using cable.

Room air conditioning feeble and rooms overlooking front get road noise if window opened. Therefore sunny at 24c in October - fine! Height of summer - might be another matter. Slightly dismal decor, room best described as plain! (But for price ...) Bathroom only has shower.

Have a good kitchen and full cooking set.

Staff very cold.

The location is near to TGV station. but you have to take the bus to go to cantre city which wil cost you 1.2 euro once. The price does not include the breakfast. It is quiet at night. We appreciate the excellent work of the staff, they are very nice and sweet.

Pleasant English speaking reception staff. We stayed for 5 days and thought it great value for money. Kitchen facilities suited our needs. Carrefour short walk away. Bus stop 50 metres away and 10 minute ride into the city. Tgv station nearby, walkable even with luggage, also suited us as we had travelled by train. Room housekeeping perfectly adequate with clean linen and towels supplied at regular intervals during our stay. Wouldn't hesitate to stay at Citea Avignon again.

although I was able to get my key and get into my room, there was no-one at the front desk (and no way to contact anyone) if there had been any difficulty. I wanted to order breakfast, for the next morning, but there was no way to do that.
