Good,
Score from 494 reviews
“The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The fact that you can prepare food in the room in the little kitchen (I just made tea but the facility was there). It was fairly central and so it was easy enough to walk to most places of interest or get a tram or bus.”

The hotel was in quieter area on the edge of the centre of the city. It is only 10 minutes from the Cathedral and 15 minutes from the Football Ground, where we were watching a Rugby match. The breakfast was very good with a choice of french bread and croissants delivered daily. We did not use the kitchenette provided, but wished we had taken tea bags and milk to put in the fridge in the room. Breakfast starts at 8.30am on weekends. The location is also only 15 minutes walk from the bus stop for the number 1 bus which takes you to the airport for 1 euro 40c.

Helpful staff, their English much better than my French. Our 2 person studio appartment was fit for purpose. Location just outside Bordeaux old town. Bordeaux itself - beautiful, and sunny! Our 2 person studio appartment was smaller and scruffier than I expected. Shower impossible to use standing up, connection on the wall broken in room 125 tv had only one English language chanel, given freeview and satellite these days it ought to be possible to offer more choice (what about Spanish or German visitors?). Larger and flat tv screen these days?

Good value for money, The hotel is well situated less than 10 minutes walk from the Hotel de Ville and the cathedral. We will stay at this hotel again. I booked at the last minute and the hotel car park was full so next time I will call to check this first.

Good value. Clean. Simple. Possible double charging! I have yet to check - but I think I paid e51 to your site and was charged e60 on the morning of departure. Next - After hours protocol. Big shout to booking.com - make it totally obvious and clear (even if it means screaming capitals) that there's no-one at reception after 9pm. No problems with that - how else can you do inexpensive rooms near the centre of a major city? But after 9pm, it's codes and bits and bobs. I got in and spoke to a very helpful lady. She was charming and helpful - and must have been tired of taking calls at 9.30 at night... Not sure if she speaks English. I suspect it would have been tough for a non-French speaker. Overall, happy - subject to reclaiming any double payment.....

The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The fact that you can prepare food in the room in the little kitchen (I just made tea but the facility was there). It was fairly central and so it was easy enough to walk to most places of interest or get a tram or bus. The fact that the desk closes for lunch and from 6 pm is a little inconvenient. I had to adjust my plans to allow for this. For instance, on my return .I was coming from Sarlat and had to make sure I got a train that would give me time to get from the station to the hotel before 6 pm.

This is a nice hotel with all the comforts you need, but no luxury - good price for what you get. It is in walking distance from the town but nevertheless the rooms are quiet, there is hardly any traffic on the little street in front of the hotel and when you sleep to the backside of the hotel there is no noise at all. The staff is very nice and I was impressed how quickly they managed to look after complaints. I suggested to clean the carpet in my room thoroughly because of big dark stains in it and when I came back three days later for another stay I accidently got the very same room again - and the carpet had been cleaned - stains where gone. Thank you for that! I would fully recommend the hotel if you do not need luxury, it is nice, calm and clean - and also has good mattresses!

Situated 10min walk (depending on length of step...) from the centre of Bordeaux, in a residential area, this hotel offers inexpensive accomodation, while still within reasonable distance from the places to be and see while there. The staff is excellent, and the rooms reasonable compared with the price. Theres a kitchenette in the room with refigerator, and utensils, so its possible to cook breakfast and lunch there. Parking is possible in the adjacent garage, for a fee.

Quite large single room, two tables, kitchen with refrigerator, comfortable bathroom. Nice personnel. Somehow constrained breakfast. Seems to be in french style, for me it was not enough. They could consider broader spectrum of meals, not only corn flakes and bread.
