We liked the privacy of the courtyard, and the rustic surroundings - also proximity to the village. The amenities were sparse. |

Building exterior & grounds are pretty. Non-smoking policy is not enforced. Non-conditioned air means windows must be open. People smoking on terrace below forced us to choose between cigarette smoke and no ventilation. Smoke led to a sinus infection which continued for 4 days. Guests below were also unruly, yelling sarcastically at eachother. We paid less the next night for air- conditioned room with restaurant at neighboring Ibis. |

distance to the center - 4 km, few minutes without traffic jam. I knew the hotel from earlier, but it was much better. This hotel has worsen in the last years. Without air conditioning, stuffy air, bad room for 2 persons, in front of it stinking. Reception closed from 12:00-14:00. |

A lovely spot to relax in and only a short bus ride from town. Grass, fountains and trees. A bit faded and dated and hot with no Air conditioning in 35 degree weather. |

The space in front of the appartment is nice to sit, the green hedges around the house. The rooms are tiny and dark, very stuffy. The interior is very dated, especially the kitchen equipment, there is a depressing feel about the whole place. Definitely only worth a stay of 1 or 2 nights, never to spend longer. The location itself is also not suitable for conveniently walking into town as it's across the motorway and in an area you wouldn't enjoy walking through. |

Nice price and surroundings. Very calm and just 5-10 min drive to the centre of the city. Bathroom had a funny smell when we arrived, and the pressure (by the cleaning lady) for the check-out are the things I can point by our experience. Google maps and a GPS are a nice help to find what can be a somewhat not so easy path to find ;) |

The building of the hotel is very interesting. It was constructed in century XV to be used as infirmaries. The adaptation as hotel was focused in families therefore it has refrigerator, stove, etc. Unhappyly is not very comfortable because the bed is small and not well located. The cleanness also is very bad (one day the maid forgotten to clean up our bedroom). |

I found the staff to be courteous and helpful. The room was in rather poor shape, with wear and tear showing on the furniture and in the bathroom. |

That we got exactly what we expected. The directions we got were accurate, the key was waiting in a safe-box, and the room was nice. In short, a nice European style motel for people on the road looking to spend a night when arriving late and heading early onwards. Reading the story of the place made us feel we may have missed the charm that definitely exists in the place. |

The locaton -close to the centre of Aix by car The apartment was badly in need of refurbishment. The walls had paint bubbling off them and the furiture was old and shabby. |

The building was memorable due to its age. We liked all the original touches & imaginative layout with the mezanine. We enjoyed the fact that it was an plague hospital in days gone by. |

the outside grounds were very pretty the office was closed at 9 p.m. and we arrived our first night at 9:30. Not a good location for activities in the city. Room too small. Staff not very helpful. |

Friendly reception staff, Interesting, unusual building, Good location for getting out and about being close to the motorway. A bit far from the centre of the town although decent pay carparks in town and buses very frequent from close to the hotel (make sure you find out which stop they leave from) |

The fountains and the location - close enough to the centre of town but still in a lovely setting and quiet environment. The building and gardens were beautiful. The bedroom upstairs was very stuffy - the fan helped. The design of the bath/shower meant that we had a lot of water on the floor after a shower. |

L'aspect exterieur de la construction: ancien batiment assez bien entretenu, le parking ferme, le calme. Le petit dejeuner par rapport au prix, la situation geographique de l'hotel dans une zone d'activite sans interet. L'accueil plutot froid. |
