Adagio Access La Défense - Léonard De Vinci  

The location is good - 10 min. walking to the RER station (just 4 stops from Les Halles), shopping mall 10 min. walking, nice modern and quiet area. The kitchinette in the room is well equipped (microwave, fridge, cooker, utensils), so very convenient for self-catering. Friendly staff. Nice boulangerie just across the street.

Room was a bit "worn", some renovation or re-decoration would help. The bed was a bit short for a person over 180 cm.

The reception staff was very, very nice: welcoming, pleasant and helpful. And it's location near La Défence makes easy access to Metro 1 very convenient.

Regrettably, however, I could not stay another night. Despite the very pleasant staff, the simple fact is that this supposedly "hotel" is in fact a 1960-70's era student dormitory beside the University's Leonardo da Vinci's campus right beside that has been converted into an hotel. It is small, cramped, with old paint, curtains, bedsheets, appliances and even door (despite an attempt at semi-electronic keys (really... semi) which makes opening your door a real challenges. The pool was closed; the elevators small and slow; and apart from the lobby, little seems to have changed in the hotel since the 1970s. In short: for just a bit more per night, you can stay at a much better hotel and unless you are travelling on a very thight budget, you will want to explore other options rather than settling with this hotel.

The hotel was basic but comfortable and clean. It was the ideal location for us and we were inspired by the futuristic architecture of La Defense. Having the reception manned 24hrs a day was most helpful, also, having staff who spoke English (and understood my very basic French!) was a real bonus. My wife and I enjoyed our stay.

We had a little problem finding the hotel when we first arrived, the directions from La Defense station were not as good as they could be.

Little kitchen is good enough for preparing breakfast and late dinner. But for short stays, kitchen is less useful.

Very conveinient for La Defense

Could not get the tv to work. All you want on holiday is to push a single button and the tv comes on. This needs sorting out otherwise your going to get some seriously disgruntled customers.

It was had a great location in a nice neighbourhood. The metro is very near and there's a great shoppingmall located near the hotel in the business area la defense. Really nice people there. The hotel itself was clean, friendly service. I really enjoyed my stay there.

Very close to the Metro station and direct into the city. Lots of restaurants nearby, and a supermarket. A cot was provided as requested.

On the weekend most of the restaurants in the area are closed!

Extremely nice and freindly staff making you welcome. Excellent location close to La Defense. Very good value for money if you are looking for a room with some place to cook.

We stayed for 3 nights and the hotel is really value for money.Having a microwave and mini fridge is great as we can make simple meals using the basic utensils.It would be even better if the hotel can provide a small kettle too.TQ for the safe in the room although it was not mentioned in the booking. The location is wonderful with lots of shops, restaurants and supermarkets.Metro and train station is nearby, 15 mins walk,accessible to everywhere.There are escalators along the way to avoid carrying our bags up and down the stairs, but beware, it is not functioning on Sat/Sun.

The is no air-condition, only heater. Although in the month of June, it was cool at night, so we had no problems with the heat at all. There should be more directions to lead the guests to the hotel as we were lost looking for the hotel but luckily some nice people led us to the right direction.I would definately stay in the hotel again. A signboard on the main street after/before the escalators to point to the hotel would be helpful.

the staff was more than helping, my husband got sick and I received all the help I could get even a better room at no extra charge. A good place to stay if you want to be outside Paris. The Defense center is big and accomoding but too quiet at night. We always had to take either train or metro to be in center of entertainment. We choose this hotel because we had friends living not far from us. If ever we returned to Paris we would choose a place closer to attractions and that would be the only reason why we would not returned to this hotel.

The fact that at night there was nothing to do or see around us.
