The reception staff was very, very nice: welcoming, pleasant and helpful. And it's location near La Défence makes easy access to Metro 1 very convenient. Regrettably, however, I could not stay another night. Despite the very pleasant staff, the simple fact is that this supposedly "hotel" is in fact a 1960-70's era student dormitory beside the University's Leonardo da Vinci's campus right beside that has been converted into an hotel. It is small, cramped, with old paint, curtains, bedsheets, appliances and even door (despite an attempt at semi-electronic keys (really... semi) which makes opening your door a real challenges. The pool was closed; the elevators small and slow; and apart from the lobby, little seems to have changed in the hotel since the 1970s. In short: for just a bit more per night, you can stay at a much better hotel and unless you are travelling on a very thight budget, you will want to explore other options rather than settling with this hotel.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is sited close to where a member of my family is working. It is a lengthy walk to the nearest Metro/RER station The outlook from the rooms are dismal. Taxi drivers find it difficult to find

The hotel was basic but comfortable and clean. It was the ideal location for us and we were inspired by the futuristic architecture of La Defense. Having the reception manned 24hrs a day was most helpful, also, having staff who spoke English (and understood my very basic French!) was a real bonus. My wife and I enjoyed our stay. We had a little problem finding the hotel when we first arrived, the directions from La Defense station were not as good as they could be.

Located in modern neighborhood. 15 minutes away from the metro station. Awful smell in the room. Cleaning service only after multiple requests. The hotel needs renovation.

The location for La Defense is excellent. Minutes walk for anyone in the offices. Chepaer than most alternatives. Very run-down. Rooms look dirty but most marks/stains are long term rather than not being celaned. Woke up on first morning covered in bites. Complained and was given another room, eventually, but was concerned that the hotel said that the bed would be cleaned and ok to use. I think most hotels would replace the mattress. Emphasises that the place is run to a tight budget.

Very conveinient for La Defense Could not get the tv to work. All you want on holiday is to push a single button and the tv comes on. This needs sorting out otherwise your going to get some seriously disgruntled customers.

Very close to the Metro station and direct into the city. Lots of restaurants nearby, and a supermarket. A cot was provided as requested. On the weekend most of the restaurants in the area are closed!

I spent my 2 nights at Leonard de Vinci Hotel and this hotel was just like home for me. My wallet was stolen and afterwards, I brought the hotel room key with me to the airport and they were still calm and kind and most importantly good-humoured. The hotel was simple but I loved that simpleness. Apart from the other fancy hotels, It was alive and shiny with its crew! Thank you...

The weekend price! I'm travelling so would usually stay in hostels rather than a business hotel. The special price available at the weekend was not much more than a hostel at this time of year and made a welcome change to have an en suite room of my own. There was even a hot plate which I didn't use but would be useful if I were staying for a week on business. A good business hotel. I would stay here if on a business trip to La Defense Perhaps a microwave oven would give guests more options than heating soup or odering take away. The only downside was the problem with the WiFi. The signal in my initial room just wasn't strong enough to establish a connection. There was a very helpful hotline and signal amplifiers were available at reception in anticipation of this problem. The first 3 I tried were broken but the 4th did work once I'd moved to a different room. Lack of perfect WiFi is the only reason I deduct points from this hotel as internet access is essential. That said, they dealt with the problem perfectly, though they should replace those broken units in case more than 1 guest has the same problem in future.

The location, which is close to La Défense shopping centre and RER + metro station; the residential and silent area of Courbevoie where the hotel is located; the facilities: there's a patisserie Viennese just in front of the entrance and a market around the corner; the possibility of cooking in your own room.

Walking to everthing of need. Fast lift service. Kebab shop next door. Monoprix too. Polite local woman who manned the front door of Monoprix to gracefully beg for change. Typical Citea : well planned space and usable kitchen. Daily 5 star room cleaning from maids who showed up before noon very day. Always seemed we had the place to ourselves yet the hotel was said to be fully booked. La defense is on yellow metro line which makes a bee line for tour Eiffel, left and right banks downtown. Take the 12 euro , one hour boat tour with (?) vendetta from the base of Tour Eiffel. No cover for pedestrians if it rained. ( It didn't) Can someone explain the persistence of the leave-the-room key-at- the-front-desk rule in 21st century Paris? Everything closed on Sundays so stock beer and bread.

The location is good - 10 min. walking to the RER station (just 4 stops from Les Halles), shopping mall 10 min. walking, nice modern and quiet area. The kitchinette in the room is well equipped (microwave, fridge, cooker, utensils), so very convenient for self-catering. Friendly staff. Nice boulangerie just across the street. Room was a bit "worn", some renovation or re-decoration would help. The bed was a bit short for a person over 180 cm.

The location of the hotel is perfect - you start sightseeing just as you leave the hotel, nevertheless it is situated in a calm quarter. We were satisfyed with comfortable bed, quiteness at night with window open, staff available all day long. Oven was not working in my room and the staff had no reaction to my complain. The smell was not good in room, we had to leave the window open. I should not complain a lot as the price was rather low.
