Adagio Access La Défense - Place Charras  

The guy at the reception was extreemly helpful. And the view from the huge balcony was amazing

Lots of noise, from other kitchen / bathroom use looks bit old in design

Pretty well equipped apartment. Compact. Good heating system. Receptionists tried their best. There is a laundry. Not noisy room. Good fresh air if you open the window. Safe availability.

Cleaning lady is like a tale: once upon a time ... Corridor smells badly. Toilette flush either working either not. Poor English knowledge. Staff is nice with limited knowledge / skills. Not much hot water.

Pleasant modern location with short Metro ride to centre of old city. Kitchenette useful for self catering.

The hotel is fine for a budget-conscious traveller. It is not in the centre of Paris, but the walk to La Grande Arche takes ten minutes and the metro journey from La Défense to Palais Royal/Muséee du Louvre takes 15 minutes. These figures are accurate as I timed both myself! The rooms are simple, clean and spacious, with free wi-fi and tv. Mine had a bathroom with shower, which was fine and a kitchenette with a hob, microwave, filter coffee maker and washing up facilities (You will need to buy your own washing up liquid and paper towels). The area is quiet with good amenities - there are bars and restaurants to suit all budgets and a shopping centre which has a Carrefour and an open market amongst others. I would use Citéa Place Charras again

It's cheap for a weekend stay in Paris. It's cheaper during weekend as compared to weekdays.

It's a bit far from the nearest metro/ rer station, 1km + away. We found out that there is a connecting bus to the station in front of the hotel on our last day of stay!

It is great place to stay in Paris, I stayed in the 10th floor and I had a great view of the financial area.

I had a very good experience. Value for money is good.I Liked that a supermarket very close and we had about 15 minutes walk from the hotel to The Defense subway. I liked so much.

Cheap with respect to the fact it stays in Paris. Clean, comfort, and facility is good.

For those who come to Paris with no hired car, especially who are going to walk around by metro, I wouldn't recommend this hotel. The location is too far from the city centre, and it's very hard to find. It takes about 15 to 20 minutes to walk to the metro station, so it's almost a nightmare for backpackers.

Kitchenette in the room was very useful for making little meals instead of eating out in Paris (including all tools). The room was relatively small, but clean and comfortable and our 9th floor had a good view on La Defense. 15min walk to the metro station provides a good connection to the centre.

Staff wasn't too polite and welcoming, but at least spoke a basic English. There were few problems with the kitchenette - would be useful to have a kettle; the cooker was a bit confusing to use; the fridge doors were not closing well. Possible that the small room gets really hot in the summer, but was fine for the spring.

The relaxed atmosphere

The heated swimming pool was out of order during my stay. This was a disappointment.
