The rooms were nice enough for a over nighter, No air con in rooms and the noise outside was very loud. Prostitutes around the corner were a put off also the area itself was rough. Tv only had 1 channel. No tea or coffee in rooms, should have a kettle rather than coffee maker with no coffee. The area itself was not very nice at all - pay a little extra and stay into the city more -

The kitchen was equipped enough to cater for normal lunch/dinner, but nothing more 2) close to stations. too many points, 1) the rooms are next to a big road, you cant stay without opening the windows and if you do, then the noise is horrible. 2) the staff was really rude, if you speak in english they avoid responding :-( but this is general in france 3) they would not pick up the packed garbage bags and the grabage bin is located in corner room on the floor .. huh.. you wont be able to find it , unless assisted 4) the front staff at times could have been more helpful 5) Station Porte de la villete is not safe at night, we preferred Corentin Careou 6) 2 room place was just a 1 room somehow parted into 2, compared to other places in europe it was not as good. You may get better rooms for same price in the city center.

I like the personnel, equipment and services. Easy access to metro Porte de la Villette. Cité des sciences is just behind the hotel. Rooms have unpleasant smell. Room cleanliness is really poor. Breakfast is very expensive in comparison what is being offered. Metro is next to hotel but you need to spend 30-50 minutes to get to the Notre Dame or Eiffel tower. No private parking place (You have to park in the Cité des sciences public parking - 13.6 EUR / 24 h)

It's quite close to the metro station and Cite de las Infants. Very very weird area, quite dangerous sensation. Didn't feel safe at all to have a walk around the area with my family.

Chose this hotel because of location and free wifi. While it is not the hotel's fault, but be aware that there is a major construction going on that makes it difficult to get to the hotel. You practically have to park your car elsewhere and walk to the hotel as there is no area in front of the hotel where you can park even to check in. Hotel receptionist was nice, but gave us wrong directions to hotel. There's no parking at hotel but you can park in nearby Science Museum's parking garage (paying for your parking ticket then finding your car is another story - due to constructions). Not enough towels in our room. Free wifi was not working at all. Tiny room even though we supposedly got the more spacious 4-bed apartment. All in all I would not recommend staying at this hotel.

As Paris hotel rooms go, this one was quite spacious. The kitchenette came in handy, and the building was very nice. Also, it is within 50 meters to a metro station. Currently, the area around the hotel is under construction making navigating to it a challenge and detracting from the ambience of the city. The area is quite some distance from most of Paris' attractions, but the proximity to the Metro station mitigates this considerably. The hotel was unable to provide extra pillows and the breakfast buffet was unimpressive.

Very handy for the Metro. In September 2011 the area is a bit of a building site with lots of roadworks!

The location was good. It is between 2 metro stations and has a few shops and restaurants around. The accommodation was good value for the money paid. Excellent Wifi. The staff at reception are not very professional and appear unfriendly, giving a bad first impression. The receptionist was very rude when we arrived a bit early. There is also so much noise around it makes sleeping difficult, even with the windows shut. Although the accommodation was adequate (we paid for a 4 person room but there were 3 of us) the rooms are quite small. Also there is an unpleasant smell in the bathroom (shower curtain smells and there is no extractor) and the toilet. I hope they sort this out as it spoils the whole experience.

The location is outside the city center but right on the Metro line and easy access to all the main attractions. The room was clean, comfortable and had full kitchen facilities. There are markets nearby to get food to cook. I would definitely recommend this hotel to families. We had the quad room and were very happy with it. While there were 2 rooms, they were quite connected. There was a window between the two and not much privacy.

The hotel hasn't own parking, so the car is parked in a private park estate very dangerous near the same hotel. It needs to leave own car totally empty to avoid not nice surprises.

- The hotel is very close to the METRO stop. -The rooms do not have any fans or aircon. so it could be very hot inside the room in summers.

The reception staff are polite and friendly. My reservation was for a two-room apartment, with one double bed and two single beds. To my disappointment, I was given a one-bedroom apartment instead with one double bed and a sofa bed when I checked in.

The location is out of the centre, but close by a metro. And you can't get any closer to La Villette Park. The rooms are good for a weekend break, and the kitchenette seems well equipped (didn't use it). The refrigerator is silent. Breakfast is buffet style, and adequate. The family room has a sofa that folds out as a double bed, and a bedroom with a double bed. The restaurant next door (Hippopotamus) is reasonably priced and geared towards families with kids. There is a frequent rumble during the night (train, metro ?) that didn't wake me but is disturbing when awake. The room was quite hot & stuffy, and the only way to get fresh (?) air was open a window to a noisy street. Not a great option. I am pretty sure that France has a committee somewhere that will judge the baguettes and croissants at breakfast as a crime against French culture. Don't advertise with a 24h/7d reception when it is closed from 12:00 to 14:00 in the weekend. Quite annoying when you arrive with luggage just after 12:00.

I love the room. Great space, lots of air, enough space that luggage is not in the way. The mattress, like all the other hotels in France, totally needs changing! Ridiculously soft! I think there are no good beds in France, period.

Reception staff spoke reasonable english, room was very nice, had cooking facilities (superior deluxe room), very good cooking and washing facilities, very near metro station The signboard was very small and its beside another hotel which loomed outside the exit. The map indication of the hotel was deceiving (I thought I had to cross the road but actually I didn't need to cross the road), so it took some asking around to find the hotel.

“We used this hotel for our honeymoon. Location is perfect and people were so friendly. There are supermarkets around there so that we can easily buy local foods and enjoy in the room. On Sunday, there is local market around nearby subway station. There also we can enjoy local foods. This hotel is well equipped and you don't have to bring anything. We went out everyday and we felt as if we were going "home" at the end of the day. We definitely use this hotel again if we have opportunity to come to Paris. We strongly recommend this hotel.” Tomomi, Tokyo |
