The cleanness of the apartment, good equipments and cutlery, 24 hour English speaking reception staff, free high speed wi-fi, parking. The parking rate was really high and expensive ( 8 euro a night!) which is not good. The sofa bed's lock was faulty and during the night, every few minutes, it had a tendency to move our legs up! The toiletries were not enough for four. But the worst of all is that the hotel had charged my credit card on the reservation day ( a week before our check-in); while indicating there is no pre-payment!

The room was equipped with a kitchen (microwave, induction cooker, sink, refrigerator), what is very usefull for those who want to cook or bring snacks. It was very clean, with Wi-Fi and comfortable. The hotel is 8min walking away from underground station and from the city center, where you can find all stores and restaurants.

I stayed here for the price and because it is near the office I am working at. I have stayed here before and will stay here again, however, the rooms are fairly basic. Breakfast is a normal French one. The free internet works well. The heater in the room worked well. Rooms are basic. Small shower room. Basic tv.

We stayed in a studio. It was well equiped and had a great layout. It really felt like "home". It was in the centre of the student district and was rather noisy at night, particularly if, like us, it is hot and you need the windows open.

Very clean room, 15 mn walk from the train stations, quiet neighborhood. The kitchenette has modern and clean stuff ( micro wave, fridge, induction). I stayed two nights and the room was cleaned very morning. At the 4th floor, big window, open view to the sky. I will definitely come back ! It may be quite far from the train stations if you have lots of luggage or can not walk easily. But the road is straight and easy.

The hotel was clean, with decent facilities. It was at a walkable distance from the city centre and with the accommodation blocks located in a courtyard, it was quiet, good for a nights sleep. Bathroom clean and good shower. Nice rack of mags in the breakfast bar. Reception staff were more brisk than welcoming. Bathroom was kitted out for 2 people, rather than 4 as booked, so had to go to reception for extra towels etc. Rooms felt a bit austere. Croissants at breakfast were tiny and overbaked. Otherwise, not bad, nothing to stop me going there again.

We had a nice, quite spacious studio with a reasonable sized bathroom and a kitchette with 2 electric cooking plates and fridge as well as kitchen utensils, plates, glasses, etc. The breakfast buffet is OK, certainly for French standards. The hotel (rather a complex of a couple of buildings situated around an inner court) is situated in a quiet part of Lille, but just a 5 minutes walk to either the Citadelle de Lille (Vauban) or the bars and discotheques in Rue de Solférino/Rue Masséna. To the Place Charles de Gaulle is just a 15 minutes walk passing the Rue Nationale. Just a minor remark: the size of the shower: you have to move a bit carefully to avoid the shower curtain to hang outside the shower bassin.

Parking, the Cars parked on the road outside had wingmirrors knocked of every day, and there was no other car parking in the area. So i paid the 8 euros a day. The hotel was clean, the room was clean, however could of used i lick of paint and the tile grout cleaning. Room for a family of 4, only three dining chairs, also with 2 kids and no working lift, getting the luggage up an external spiral stair case was a nightmare. stayed for 3 nights and it took until the last day to get the shower head fixed. The immediate area around the hotel was ok but not for a young family, and was full of beggers. Would i recommend this hotel....yes....but not to a family..... to a bunch of backpackers yes.

A converted student accomodation site but very good rooms . you can get breakfast as per a hotel , but the room had cooker, fridge and cutlery. Very clean rooms which were cleaned every day. On a quiet side street ,only 100 metres from rue national and a frequent cheap bus service into le gare lille flandres / europe . 10 min walk into la grande place. Very helpful staff also. Not really a fault but the shower was a tad small .

The reception staff were terrific, and location spot on.Very happy about being able to park my car securely. I do not like showers with plastic curtains and slipped twice in the shower base. Also the maid tried to get into my room at 10am to clean and returned 10 mins later, my check out time was 11am. Not nice having to rush to pack and get out, when I knew I had plenty of time to as no need to have done so. The reception staff did apologise and were very nice.If the rooms had a bathroom instead of a shower I would gladly return.

It was a really cute studio, we've stayed in for 3 nights. All prepared and the kitchen is fully equiped it was a really nice cool studio. one thing I didn't like the windows were closed before we come, so no fresh air, and the blankets are not clean and they are very poor. I didn't like the fact that the studio was not aerated before we come, I am allergic to dust, so at night I had a little athme problem. And the blankets on the bed are very poor and not clean at all.

“We paid for the room when checking-in and therefore didn't have to do anything to check-out the next day which was ideal when having to leave really early in the morning. The receptionist was really helpful on giving us advice of what to see and what to eat in the centre. Was a nice stay.” Samantha, Cardiff |
