Staff was helpful. Room got cleaned every day. Small kitchenette with properly sized refrigerator. I slept on the first floor, heard receptionist heels walking around all night on Saturday. Shower could have been cleaned better, and an adjustable showerhead would do some good too; hard to take a proper shower when the head is turned to the wall.

Location First night... It was very difficult to get a parking space that we had booked in advance by internet and by phone. After much arguementation, we got the parking space. The maid came at 10:00 AM. We asked for 10 minutes before she could do the room. She then decided to leave and the room was not done. Towels not replaced. If I can find another hotel in the same area, we will not returned.

During my stay at the Citea hotel I found the staff to be very informative and helpfull. The hotel is situated in an excellent position for getting around the city and shopping and more importantly for me it is only 5 mins from the Stade Velladrome( we were in Marseille to watch Arsenal play Marseille in the Champs lge which we won 1-0 ). The hotel indoor swimming pool is well recomended for a visit and pick me up after a few beers the night before!, A bit cold but very refreshing. There is a very welcoming bar/restaurant( the Kilt) only 2 mins away and a mainline tube station next to that. You will not go wrong if you decide to stay at the Citea. Merci. Perhaps a little in house bar area would be a good idea.

The reception staff was very kind and helpful. It is on the main road off a metro station, so location wise, quite easy to come and go. Air conditioning is terribly ill installed, with very little you can do with remote. So then it's either too cold or too hot. Bathrooms and plumbing are obsolete. Ventilation poor. Breakfast is very basic and lacks fresh fruits. But it might suit someone on budget who wouldn't mind these deficits.

The hotel was fine. We had two young kids and had no problems with anything. I like that it was open 24 hours, since we arrived really late and had wi-fi, which was very convenient. Breakfast was fine too, nothing exceptional, but enough food to keep you going.

Friendly stuffs (with fluent English), nice & clean room, good location (safe and with supermarket nearby). We were robbed on the train at 9:00am on the 1st day in Marseille, which made our trip miserable. This hotel is the only good thing I would name in Marseille. This hotel is great, but the city Marseille itself can be very dangerous. If you are shorter than ~1.85m (the robber in my case) and without defense skills, I'd strongly recommend you this hotel which is safe and nice.

. the wireless internet was wonderful and free. The metro station is near the hotel and easy to get it. It is so quiet arround and inside the hotel. No taxes added, but only what was mention. there are all equipements for food like Microwave, refrigerator, plates ... the room, the bathroom and the bed itself are so small. No cleaning every day. We could not use the telephone card from the room telephone's but only from Loby. No scale for the weight of bags.

Very good price and location. Quiet and well-ecquiped kitchen, just 2 minutes away from metro station, and good connections with all interesting places in town (museums, shops, sea beach, railway stations). It also has an indoor swimming pool for its guests. Good value for price. You can try breakfast at the hotel for extra charge. Teh room was rather big comparing to those at similar confort in Paris. The hotel does not provide daily cleaning, but for charge it is possible. The carpet was very used and the beds not very confortable.

I didn't expect to have a small kitchen with microwave, cutlery and dishes. That nicely surprised me. I didn't like the swimming pool: small, interior and not clean enough.

This hotel is only a few steps away from the metro station. Although this hotel is close to a metro station, it's not in the city center. It requires either a bus or metro to get to the city center. And although we booked a non smoking room, we can smell the smoke in our room and the hallway all the time.

Not much-the staff were nice and they spoke good English but that the only positive thing I can say about this hotel The room was very very dirty. The bedcover had bood stains on the inside of it andall the walls in the roon were filthy. The carpet was badly stained. The bathroom was ok. The hotel says parking is available but car park was full when we visited. It was a sunday night and in off season so they shold probably highlight that parking is very limited

Rooms were clean and rather big. We did not use the stove but I think it's worth mentioning that the room was also provided with it. Didn't expect so much for this budget.
