having the kitchen area was very handy. room was average, nothing special. images of room and kitchen area on site is misleading. room was tiny compared to photos there wasnt anything around the hotel in the line of small shops, supermarkets so location wasnt the best even though i thought we booked it for location.

The location is more than excellent. Within walking distance to the centre (about fifteen minutes) 10minute walk to the beach. The area is lively with shops and restaurants. The harbor with yachts is 5-10min walk. Large supermarket 100meter. The rooms are ok, not very big, but clean. The staff is very rude. Extremely unfriendly, you will not be looked at when talked to, no polite form. Although the hotel was good, this can seriously disrupt your stay. The cleaners were friendly, but the desk staff should be fired without exception. When giving the wrong room, the reaction was: too bad, you will have to do with it, cause we just gave put your original room on booking.com to book. A double room was a room with 1 normal small bed, and one camping bed. I paid 99 euro a night for this.

The location is really good with the old part of the town really close, as well as the main shopping areas. The sea isn't too far away. The cooking facilities in the room are useful, as well as the fridge. The bathtub is spacious. The breakfast is good enough. The breakfast room is quite small, so at times there isn't enough room for everyone (though there is room to eat outside, if the weather is nice). The pictures of the hotel were too promising, this isn't the most stylish place, but a good one.

If you don't mind walking the location just great. It is close to everywhere : beach, old city, city center, shopping etc. They have nice balcony where you can have breakfast and just rest. 1. The cleanless leaves much to be desired. Rooms need to have more lightening and a mirror in the room will be really useful. 2. The staff is maily very unprofessional (except one lady). It took them almost a month a several mails almost everyday to reimburs me for the additional night paid.

We liked the kitchen with fridge and microwave. 1. The water doesn't stay on temperature. 2. They mixed up the towels and gave a small towel instead of big one. By refresh of the towels they didn't set it right. We had to ask a second big towel at the desk. They didn't clean under the bed.

The hotel was basic but had cooking facilities which made a hugh difference as the prices in Nice were quite expensive The room smelt a little musty on arrival

I chose this hotel because the place at which I usually stay was fully booked. I will not make the same mistake again. I chose it simply because of the swimming pool on the roof, in which I had hoped to have a morning swim. Unfortunately, whoever built the place thought it was a good idea to put up a wall which blocks the morning sun. The water was evidently not filtered well enough and there were bits of dirt suspended in it. There is no seating. Half the staff were rude, including a maid and one particularly obnoxious receptionist who took to lecturing me on principles of hotel operation. Reception closes in the middle of the day. Late at night reception is open but there is no-one in attendance and the front door is unlocked. Draw your own conclusions as to the security. The carpets are grubby, the lift is excruciatingly slow. All in all a pretty awful place.

Good parking facilities (reservation needed) - decent value breakfast. Good location - you can walk to most of the places you want to in very short amount of time. Decent value too The whole check in process took over 45mins! After a 10 hr drive I was not amused to say the least. It was not even as if there was a big queue, the staff just took an age to deal with each request and did not keep us informed of what the delay was. To top it all, when I got to the room, there was 1 double bed, and not the 2 singles I had reserved. Back down to reception, where I was amazed to be told that although I reserved a twin room "this was not a guarentee, yes?" !!! After producing an e-mail from the Hotel confirming that I had reserved a twin room, and by looking as if I was going to turn from the lovely guy that I am into the Incredible Hulk, we were eventually put in a room with 1 single bed, and one slide out bed. It was like sleeping in a drawer! I am writing this over 2 weeks later and am now fairly calm! Having said all that, I would recommend the hotel for it's location and value for money - just make sure you take e-mail confirmation of what you have booked from the hotel itself, rather than from Booking.com. I'm glad I had taken that contingency measure, otherwise I would have had to have shared a bed with my rather large, sweaty and angry Scouse mate!

The location near the old town, the swimming at 1 am in the top of the hotel with a good look (7 floor). Unfriendly receptionists. Only one elevator available that takes plenty of time

Very central, short walking distance to the old town and Promenade de Anglais/the beach. Very modern and clean, and with a lovely little pool on the roof. We were very disappointed about the balcony! There were no partition or walls between the balconies, and no outdoor furniture. The hotel asked their guests not to dry laundry there. There wasn't any privacy for the guests at their balconies and we could not use it for anything which was a disappointment, we had looked forward to enjoy the balcony mornings/evenings. We also had to dry our beach towels etc after dark. We sincerely hope this aparthotel will show honest photos of these balconies, and hopefully make them more private with outdoor furniture. The shelf under the tv was terribly in the way and blocked the way at the end of the bed. After hurting my toe badly I put it under the desk. I suggest that the hotel removes them from the apartments. The kitchenette lacked cutlery for both the salad bowl, the kettles and the frying pan. The hot plates were both too small for the frying pan and the big kettle. The elevator needs air conditioning, if possible.

This is an apart-hotel, so you have facilities to prepare your own food, if you wish. There is a laundry room on the ground floor (pay with coins), if it is occupied, ask at the reception for the alternative automated laundry located nearby. Garibaldi square is very close, as is the "Monoprix" self-service store, while the beach is a bit further. To reach the hotel from the main train station, I would suggest the following: exit the train station, walk 5 minutes to the left to the tramway stop, and ride for the 5th stop, "Place Garibaldi", or the 6th, "Acropolis". Use a map to navigate further: go to Boulevard Risso (or Esplanade Kennedy, seems it is essentially the same street), and the hotel is on that street - between Rue Smolett and Rue Barla. Sorry if it was a bit confusing, but I wish they had a map somewhere.

It was handy with a little kitchen as I was able to prep breakfast for my partner whom is on a gluten free diet, location was close to everywhere we needed to go. Although there was a kitchenette in the room it was lacking basic things like a knives, kettle, dishcloth and washing up liquid which at the least I would have expected there.

Very clean apartments, in a good location in an area with two good supermarkets including Monoprix, good restaurants and bars. Situated between two tram stops and a short walk to the old town and bus stops. Cooking facilities, balcony, and well maintained facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only minor complaint, the TV has no English language channels.

Very nice hotel. The kitchen in the room is a plus. About 15 minutes walk to the beach. And 5 minutes walk to the local supermarket Monoprix. A tramway nearby will link you to the railway station. My husband and I really enjoyed staying in the hotel. Almost nothing. We really liked it.

Easy to get to. Good transport links. Very helpful young lady on reception. Pool on roof cool but handy. Room was a bit small but nice and clean and reasonable value. Nice is a great base to explore the Cote D'Azur and the buses and trains are great value. Meals and drinks out can be very pricey. Monoprix supermarket is good value for all the basics such as bread and wine! Ask for a high room near the pool so more chance of getting a room with a balcony. Enjoy...we were there in September, weather was great and sea temps were fab for swimming. The neighbourhood is a little run down but hotel within walking distance of old town.

I was surprised that two stars hotel provided guests with air- conditioned rooms (actually air-conditioning is very-very quiet and do not disturb you during the night); fridge, mini kitchen with microwave owen and coffee-machine; swimming pool on the roof (was empty all the time). Perfect location - 15 min till Old Nice; 5 min by train till Place Massena; 3 min till the bus stop of Airport Express. Reception is closed from 12.00 till 14.00 on weekends. Take your keys all the time with you!
