Good value. ..
Pillow wasnt good.
wireless not available in room
Polite staff, close to a very good transport system, plenty of places to eat nearby, €15 taxi ride from the airport to the hotel but a €20 taxi from the hotel to the airport! Towels changed daily, kids made good use of the indoor pool!
Our room had a strong smell of curry from when we arrived and for the duration of our stay and our bins were not emptied (though I'm sure they would have been emptied if we asked for them to be)
excellent in budget
good bed, location
kitchenette was really to small to use, only one question to te staff was answered with "this is not a hotel sir", and that was it.
It was clean
No wifi in the rooms, only cable (do they know it's not 1998 anymore, there are tablets and smartphones?) Forced ventilation through the ceiling - UNSTOPPABLE. Very noisy, a whistling windy sound through the whole night. Completely ruined my night. Small towels only - no shower towels. Staff proved to be completely useless, they couldn't care less about comfort of their guests. Arrogant at times. Also, staff lied to me explaining the ventilation problem as "it's natural ventilation, depends on the wind, we can't do anything" - while it was clearly mechanical (and no wind that night). Breakfast not worth the 10 Euros: bread and croissants were not of the day. No hot milk, fresh fruit was greyish -not really fresh. If you want a good sleep, go somewhere else.
Very clean, close to tram nr 11 take you in town Basel 15 min, excellent for visiting Switzerland and France
Nice hotel with small kitchen in room room rate per night very good and affordable
No restuarant No bar
Easy to get from Basel
Hotel staff was very frendly and helpful. Room was clean. Well equipped small kitchen.Goog value hotel.
Poor wifi signal in distant rooms, in lobby signal is perfect.
Near to Airport location, fully equipped rooms, airport shuttle very cheap even in early morning
reception lady did not show much interest for the queries, wifi and wired internet both with same name and password confusing for laptop to find
pool staff location - perfect in working in Basel clean
not much to not like.
Clean, cheap, good location. some staff were rude and impatient, but the one I dealt with most was very nice.
The hotel is supposed to have free Wi-Fi for residents. The hotel lost Internet access on Friday, and did not get it back again until Tuesday. I had to buy my own cell phone plan until then. In all fairness, it's not the hotel's fault. The problem was with SwissCom. But still...
Nice and clean, only there one night, used as a stop on route
The place is very far as what they mention in the ads
I travell to Basel once a month, and I prefer this hotel due the price/quality.
I requested a double bed, once we are a couple, and received a room with two single beds. This is a second time that happened.
Well fitted out and comfortable. Excellent for self-catering 24-hr desk for late arrivals
Not a teabag nor kettle in sight so facilities no use for late arrivals. No easy access except taxi from airport
spacious rooms pool buffet breakfast free wifi location
not having large towels and having to go to reception to get them but nothing really major
close to local buses
no cleaning offered during 6 day stay not near local shops
Close location to Basel Quick check in / out
20 minute + walk from St Louis train station
it was quiet close to the airport
This establishment has absolutely no idea of what it's guests need. It is situated at the Swiss/ German/ French triangle and near the airport, meaning they have many international guests. It is 2014 and not offering in-room WiFi when half the world is travelling with smartphones and tablets (yes, also business people) is simply a joke. WiFi in the lobby.. wow... great. It is neither difficult, nor costly to install WiFi around a premises - unlike the roaming charges of your fellow guests. Furthermore, it is September, the rooms are rather warm and you provide the guest with a bedcover that has not one but TWO blankets stuffed into them? They didn't even fit into the case and where way bunched up Both super thick and of uncomfortably warm/ non breathable material. Yeah sure I took both out and just used the blanket-case. But seriously - do you even stop for a moment to think about what a travelling hotel guest needs and craves? - Quietness (you got that down) - Comfortable sleep! - Connectivity appropriate for the century we live in
Excellent location for Basel. Good value for a "Swiss" hotel. Good parking facilities. Easy access from motorway.
Location suited us.....staff were first class.
Lack of parking, no Wi-Fi in room, no air conditioning, poor bathroom....felt we paid too much for what we got. Ibis, down the road is better value!
