+ location + personel
- needs renovation especially the bathroom
The room was not clean. The basin of the toilet was almost blocked.
In the heart of the city and yards away from restaurants and shops.
Excellent location, close to the cathedral. Super little hotel.
Staff was helpful and the room was comfortable. The location and value for money is one of the best in Strasbourg. Suits a solo traveller more than a couple. If you want charming and romantic stay elsewhere - and pay double.
Top floor rooms are a bit of a trek with the suitcases.
the staff is really really nice and helpful. it is an awesome location, walking distance to everything! even the main Garre de strasbourg is close enough to get to by walking or a cab is very cheap to get to it. Not luxury but great for the price. would highly recommend.
Dirty room, extremely bad quality of cleaning, towels were not changed after our first day
Be aware this hotel is in pedestrian zone. The nearest car park we could find is over 5 mins walk away, so make sure you don't have too much luggage or arrive in heavy rain as we did. Unfortunately we were not made aware of this fact or where to park. Also the staff was very unfriendly. When I went to pay the bill the receptionist never opened her mouth once!
Very small room with no closet or space for luggage.
Location, location, location
No elevator, one electric socket.
A lack of lift. Mature people not always can carry luggage even one floor up.
Staff was friendly Breakfast 6 euro, good Close to tourist things
Toilet ran all the time
Some pinhead decided he wanted to walk around the hotel and knock on room doors. I'm sure it was an isolated incident, but it was rather infuriating. He did it for about two hours, cutting into our sleep a good deal.
Thought the localtion is very central, people in the streets will make not you sleep till 2-3 am!
Location - room was absolutely fine for the price
sleeping the window open is always tricky in a city center.
Nice building from outside. Right in the heart of the old town, plenty of eateries nearby. Staff were friendly and flexible.
Inside of building is not very atmospheric - functional/plain but clean and quiet.
Floor was dirty, There is no electric socket in bathroom, so forget about shaving... There was no iron for ironing my shirt (it was lost...)
Great location fair value friendly english speaking staff
Inaccessible by car so difficult to find. Need to pay for ten minute distant parking.
Walk out your door into central Strasbourg Close to the river Close to shopping Close to restaurants Close to historic areas & museums Live activities in summer Friendly personnel Petite dejunier included
Square below has a lot of activity to late at night Desk closes for late night Older building
Staff helpful, location great
Building old, rooms old, small, breakfast was very fair. We will not be returning.
The room is too small, especially bath area, no hair dryer. no facilities, dont carry the big bag and you need to carry yourself with all bags that you are carry and no one will assist you even you have an infant with you, I am travel with my sister in law and I feel that during the whole trip 15 days i have this is the worse experiences
The receptionist went above and beyond allowing our grandson to stay in the reception area, using the internet to do his homeschooling for a few hours while we waited for the train. The location is ideal and the rooms comfortable.
- The young blond on the reception was very helpful and gave us excellent information which made our trip better. - best location we could imagine
